149 - The MCU's Bold New Era Begins With Avengers Doomsday

Court and Rob Episode 149

Send us a message that we can respond to at the end of every episode!

This week, we dive deep into Marvel Studios' dramatic Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal that sent shockwaves through the fandom. The star-studded announcement confirms Robert Downey Jr.'s return to the MCU as Doctor Doom – alongside familiar faces like Chris Hemsworth's Thor and surprising additions including the original X-Men cast members.

We dissect who made the cut and, perhaps more tellingly, who didn't. The absence of key players like Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel raises fascinating questions about Marvel's strategic narrative plans spanning both Doomsday and Secret Wars. Are these omissions deliberate misdirection, or are some heroes being saved for an even bigger multiverse spectacle?

The revelation that Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and other original X-Men actors are joining prompts our bold theory: these characters may represent the animated X-Men '97 versions in live-action form, offering fans the definitive versions of these beloved heroes they've always wanted to see. We explore how the Russo brothers might handle this massive ensemble while balancing multiple superhero teams including the Avengers, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.

Before our Avengers deep-dive, we honor the legacy of Val Kilmer following his passing at 65, celebrating his iconic performances in Heat, Tombstone, and Batman Forever. We also cover exciting updates from CinemaCon, including Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning, Tron: Ares, Project Hail Mary starring Ryan Gosling, and The Karate Kid's promising rebirth. Plus, we analyze the Superman legacy trailer, dive into Spider-Man: Brand New Day casting news, and share our predictions for how these various storylines might converge in Marvel's ambitious multiverse saga.

Speaker 1:

It's the Infinite.

Speaker 2:

Podcast. Go tell your friends. It's the Infinite Podcast. My God, it never ends. It's the Infinite Podcast with Rob and Kork the Cube. Hello everybody, and welcome back to another episode of the Project Infinite Podcast, the podcast covering the infinite and ever-expanding multiverse of fandom for movies, comics, tv shows, video games. We got you covered. I'm rob. I'm here, as always with court and court, you got a stacked, stacked episode.

Speaker 2:

Yes, we do the avengers the avengers somebody cue the theme, they're back yeah, we can't, or we will get copyright copyrighted all your favorites are back.

Speaker 1:

Half of your favorites are back. Some of your favorites are back. A few of your favorites are back.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so, after a seven-hour live stream of chairs, marvel unveiled the cast of Some of the cast. The core cast, the core cast, the core cast. Is it the core cast? Who knows? It's some of the cast. It's a few of the fellas. It's some of the some of the cast. It's a few of the dudes. Um, so we'll talk about that. Um, we'll talk about what that means. Um, you know, we'll kind of laminate, laminate, no, meditate on some of some. What?

Speaker 1:

year. Is it some? We're gonna laminate the. We going to laminate this. I've laminated the cast list and he posted it on the wall at Marvel Studios. It was like somebody making a sports team. He posted it at the school.

Speaker 2:

So we're going to talk about the cast and the characters and what we think, maybe what they'll be doing, and then we'll uh, we'll see if we can. We got a gimmick. We got a gimmick coming about the Avengers, um. So before we get to all that, before we talk about Avengers, we do have a ton of news, especially coming out of CinemaCon, and we do have some unfortunate news as well, um, which we're going to start with, which is the passing of Val Kilmer. Um passed away at the age of 65 due to complications from pneumonia, but obviously has been dealing with a battle with throat cancer for many, many years and he passed away and that really sucks. Val Kilmer is something of an icon of 80s movies, early 90s, and thankfully, I think we'll be kind of not remembered for. But I mean just thinking about that scene that he shared with Tom Cruise in Top Gun, maverick, that Tom Cruise really really fought for to have together, and I think that you know that scene is all the more powerful, you know, in the wake of his passing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean you want to talk about the movie star. Val Kilmer is one of the movie stars.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

How he owned part of the 80s and 90s for himself and how prominent and important. You want to talk the integral pieces. You look at sports and like figures being so integral to the sport Val Kilmer's integral to film oh yeah. Into what the movie star mentality was film into what the movie star mentality was. I mean he got his superhero role. I mean he's in one of, if not one of the greatest, if not the greatest, action movie with heat.

Speaker 2:

I mean, you know, two of the greatest.

Speaker 1:

Westerns of all time. I mean he just Top Gun, one of the best 80s movies of all time. Like he was, just he. Like you know how we look at like guys like Glenn Powell and Austin, or Glenn Powell and Austin, or Glenn Powell and Austin, austin Butler nowadays, I mean that was Val Kilmer. Like that was Val Kilmer, was that Val Kilmer? Was, you know, one of the Hollywood it guys and just it.

Speaker 1:

Just it's horrible to think of. You know how much he was suffering, but, like you said, for him to even do Top Gun 2 and still let the legacy go, and how much, how many people respected him. And you know the career that he built for himself as well too. Like val kilmer, when I was a kid was one of my favorite actors. I remember saying val kilmer was one of my favorite actors and just you know watching him way too young in tombstone, watching him in the saint that was like, funnily enough, one of the first time. And I remember I had a little ipod nano and and I had Batman Forever saved on that and I watched that movie over and over and over again. So Val Kilmer's Batman voice is just ingrained in my brain. So it's somebody that I grew up with and just to see him pass the way that he did it sucks, but I mean just what a career that he left behind him.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, a real, you know a bonafide movie star. You know a bonafide movie star. I think it was Roger Ebert that once said that he was. If there was an award for unsung leading men, Val Kilmer would win that award, because he did kind of come in this era of the early 90s where there were so many of these guys and he kind of got kind of he was under the radar a little bit as far as being that kind of like bonafide movie star.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, to be the guy that leads your movie and because he often found himself like adjacent to, like the you know the other star in the movie. Obviously he got Batman, but like you look at Tombstone, you look at Heat, but like those, you take him out of those movies.

Speaker 1:

Those movies are infinitely different, like the timeline's different, without Val kilmer being in those movies, and that's something to be said I mean they literally right, they literally taught navy seals how to reload guns just from the scene in heat, like val kilmer's one of the coolest guys that's ever lived in hollywood I mean even batman.

Speaker 2:

He his batman was, was the michael keaton batman yeah you know he he assumed that role in the wake of Michael Keaton leaving the franchise Right. So, like even his Batman wasn't his own Batman you know what I mean, right.

Speaker 2:

He was kind of written, you know, as the Michael Keaton Batman which you know kind of is emblematic of kind of like his career in a way, where, like he was a leading man but he was never recognized properly for being that leading man, despite being in so many successful films and and part of those film successes was because of him you know I I think that that you know will should ultimately be his legacy.

Speaker 2:

Um and again, just that scene that he has. He has, you know, arguably like the most powerful line of dialogue in top gun maverick, you know, you know when he pipes up, you know legitimately battling throat cancer.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yep.

Speaker 2:

You know the kid needs the Navy needs Maverick, the kid needs Maverick. You know that's why I chose you. That was just. It's an incredible bit of business between him and Tom Cruise and you know I'm really grateful that. You know we've got to witness his career and, you know, obviously just ended far, far too soon. Um, so yeah, man, just about kilmer, just just a strike across the bow, um, but transitioning away from that and into tom cruise, as we talk about the mission impossible final reckoning trailer, um, this movie is on the on the horizon. It's about six to seven weeks away before we get this movie, the sequels of Mission Impossible, dead Reckoning and the final, final film in the Tom Cruise Mission Impossible movies. For now, glenn Powell's gonna take it from him. We'll see what happens, but this trailer's got everything. Every bit you can think, mean this trailer's got everything. Every, every, every bit you can, every bit you can think of.

Speaker 1:

It's trailers got it, man I mean you want to talk about gotta try and get it shut down. Yeah, you look at the franchises across the board that have been running right, like this is one of the strongest franchises that's ever crossed cinema, like the mission impossible franchise it's. It's stronger, it's got the movie star to lead it and even into the modern age where the idea of the movie star it's coming back and 100 is coming out, but it survived the movie star era going away as well too. I just mean the practicality that goes into this. You want to talk about me. You know talking heat a second ago is one of the greatest action movies. This mission impossible franchise is possibly the greatest action franchise we've ever gotten.

Speaker 1:

You want to talk about the practicality of the effects, the, the stunts they're pulling off in these movies. And I I told you before we hopped on when it flipped to ghost protocol, like the trajectory of this franchise just skyrocketed to the possibility. And it's the dedication from tom, like it's just tom and christopher mcquarrie saying like why? It's like the idea, like why can't we, why can't we do these stunts, why can't we do practical sets, why can't we go on location? Like why do we need? We don't need to be. You know, obviously there's a lot of cg things they need to do in this movie. But you know, and then you just open the trailer for this movie and it's just him dangling off a plane and him actually dangling off the plane, like who's doing it? Like him, it's. It's insane. Yeah, it makes me believe in cinema yeah, it's, it's wild.

Speaker 2:

Just I mean, you know, we don't need to, we don't need to litigate the career of tom cruise. Um, I think it kind of just stands on its own of just his dedication and his output. Like you know, you can say whatever you want about him personally and like you know what you might think of him personally, but as far as, like, being an actor like I, we're truly never going to see anything like this ever again, no, I mean it's, it's just in a borderline, psychotic dedication to one's craft, um, that you just kind of have to admire and appreciate.

Speaker 2:

And you know, I have no doubt that he's putting, literally putting his all into this, into this final mission impossible movie. Um, it's going to be, it's going to be interesting that you know, this is like a part one, part two type deal. So, um, you know, maybe if we have some time, you know, in the next six to seven weeks, we can revisit Dead Reckoning and view it through a little bit different lens from when we reviewed it, because we didn't know that this was.

Speaker 1:

Did we know, when Dead Reckoning Part 1 and 2, that this would be it right?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think we did, but I just definitely have to go back to that because there's so of the of the first one that I just have, just completely, like I told you before, I was like, oh shoot, hayley Atwell was like in this first movie, I think I totally, and she was like a major part of it and I'm like, oh yeah, she was like a pretty big deal in that first movie. So, um, yeah, I mean, everything looks incredible. Obviously, the stunts are going to be incredible and I'm just really really looking forward to it Because I think we talked about it at the time when Dead Reckoning came out that, like the trajectory of the Mission Impossible movies is really interesting, where, like it felt a little bit like after Mission Impossible 3. You're like, is this, are we done here? Is this it?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and it very well could have been. And the swing from the studio to make Ghost protocol as well too. Yeah, like, and how many years in between?

Speaker 2:

it was like five years because yeah, it was, it was a decent time jump right, um, and yeah, I mean it's. It's just really interesting that, um, that's what ended up happening. Is you know if, yeah, two, yeah, 2006 mission possible 3 came out? Ghost Protocol comes out in 2011. And just kind of reinvigorates the franchise in a way that so many franchises fail to do.

Speaker 2:

It's kind of like all right, we've hit our wall and we're kind of done here, let's go out on a not a low note, but we'll go out with our heads held high. But this crew clearly felt differently, right? Um? And now they it brought on a whole nother life of its own, from ghost protocol to fallout to rogue nation, um, and so on and so forth. So, um, really looking forward to this movie coming out I mean the additions to this cast as well too.

Speaker 1:

I mean, yeah, um tremel tillman, who's getting just absolute praise for Severance, who's, I think, in the next few years, is going to be somebody that's going to be an absolute leading man. Hannah Waddingham I didn't even know she was in this as well, too. That makes me unbelievably happy. And Katie O'Brien as well too. Somebody that worked with Glenn Powell and Twisters I forget what movie she made with A24, the one with Kristen Stewart as well too, but you know another up and coming actor that's been great in everything that she's been in. So this cast is just adding the right pieces, but overall, just this is this is the cinema they talk about. You know what I mean?

Speaker 1:

Like, yeah, just going into a theater and you know, obviously at CinemaCon Tom was talking about the cinema experience and said going to a cinema can actually change a life and actually change lives. So keep going to the cinema, and I'm 100% with him on that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah for sure. Speaking of A24, we do have a director for the Death Stranding film adaptation. It's going to be Michael Sarnoski, who directed and wrote directed A Quiet Place, part 1. He will be writing and directing the Death Stranding movie alongside, obviously, the creator of Death Stranding, hideo Kojima, who you know. I have a lot of reverence for Kojima because he has, you know, for good or for ill in the eyes of many people has transcended this bridge from gaming to movies. Is he cool? He's great. Obviously, for those of you who don't know Hideo Kojima, he's one of the most legendary Japanese video game developers of all time, developed and created Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding and Death Stranding, and he's kind of served as this bridge from gaming to cinema in a way that you know. We've had video game adaptation movies before. Obviously, minecraft right now is dominating the news cycle.

Speaker 1:

The last of us we're getting in a week.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, which again, the last of us, you know. Again I'll give Neil Druckmann a lot of credit too Like again kind of bridging that gap. Instead of being a straight up wacky adaptation of a video game, they're like no, we're going to take our stories and make a film, and that's really what Kojima's aim has been for many, many years now.

Speaker 1:

It's an.

Speaker 2:

A24 production that Kojima is a part of. Obviously, his next game that he's doing he's doing in coordination with Jordan Peele, so he's rubbing shoulders with. The Kojima Twitter movie review has become somewhat of a staple, very well regarded as kind of an auteur of sorts from the gaming industry now coming over to film. So I'm really keen on how he and Michael Sarnofsky adapt Death Stranding. I don't think it was officially announced, but I would imagine Norman Reedus is just going to do it.

Speaker 1:

right, I mean it would make all the sense in the world. I think that's a situation. You maybe don't change some of the actors. I think Kojima kind of spearheaded this. Lea Seydoux was in the second one. Right yeah, Maybe you just bring her back. You don't really have to think much about the actors of this movie.

Speaker 2:

I mean Kojima kind of spearheaded the whole let's get mainstream actors into our games thing. Let's get mainstream actors into our games.

Speaker 1:

Yes, now you look at a game like the new Naughty Dog game that's coming out, and the whole cast are notable actors.

Speaker 2:

That's the point. So Kojima again was kind of like a spearhead, of kind of recognizing that you can do movie-style storytelling in video games. I know that Metal Gear Solid film I don't know what's going on with that. I know Oscar Isaac has been attached to it for the longest time. Maybe that's going to be, you know, reliant on how this Death Stranding movie comes out, to be like all right, the Death Stranding movie worked, let's go. You know, maybe once Mission Impossible kind of phases out, they can phase Metal gear solid in, like, so we're not kind of treading similar territory, um, with the psyop stuff. But no, I I'm super excited to see what kojima's vision for for this film could be. Um, yeah, I'm really looking forward to it. Uh, cinema con, holy moly. So much, so much stuff, starting with Tron Ares. We got a trailer for Tron Ares and I don't want to say it, it looks good, man, it does look good. Obviously there's one kind of just it's a Jared Leto sized hole yeah, and to bring Jeff Bridges back from 2010,.

Speaker 1:

And I love, I want to believe that I'm the cult leader of the Tron Legacy Truth fan club. That movie was. That movie meant the world to me when I was a kid. For some odd reason, I just clung to that movie. Cillian Murphy's in that movie, for some odd reason. Um man, I I don't know if it's, I don't know if it's the realism like the way that they're shooting this that makes it like they have shot this on, like on location, like actually made the bikes, like this is how you use budget, like if you're gonna use. But obviously they have to do a lot, a lot of cg work. Same thing as mission impossible, but this one has more of an excuse to be straight CG and they just didn't take that route, which I really appreciate. I think that's going to lead. I think this movie the biggest issue that's going to come with this this movie's missing like a big name actor that everybody loves at the forefront. If this movie had like an actor that everybody was crazy. Imagine Austin Butler being the main character in this movie.

Speaker 2:

Well, this was.

Speaker 1:

What's this movie?

Speaker 2:

I mean if this movie was made 10, 15 years ago. Jared Leto would have been that.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

But he's taking a turn.

Speaker 1:

So again to my point why, like I said, obviously Evan Peters is still in this movie, Greta Lee's in this movie, who's really great as well too.

Speaker 2:

Cameron.

Speaker 1:

Monaghan's in this movie as well, which I'm really looking forward to see. But, man, you're missing. Like I said, you're missing an Austin Butler-type character or actor away from this movie. Being like getting everybody back into the Tron franchise, which Disney can use as well too back into the Tron franchise, which Disney can use as well too. Disney can use a win that's not Marvel or that's not, you know, star Wars. Like they can use a win like this and like to put Jared Leto at the forefront is just confusing. Like that's just Well, it's dangerous. It is dangerous. You run the risk of this movie getting review-bombed out of the gate.

Speaker 2:

And you don't know what you're going to get from him.

Speaker 1:

You could get Dallas Buyers Club, or you could get Morbius.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean, right the guy, for good or ill, has a range, and that range is rarely a character range, it's a quality range. I don't think I've ever seen anything white like it, to be honest with you, like the guy can put out an Oscar winning performance or he can put out the most baffling performance you've ever seen in your life. It's wild.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we'll see. Yeah, I'm just confused on why he was so, and for a studio like Disney to put him at the forefront too also is it's odd. There's an oddity to it that I just it's unmistakable. I can't stop thinking that if you just get a different actor to be here, this movie just is like it potentially could just be more loved and really pair well with Tron Legacy. Yeah, the traileron Legacy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the trailer looked cool.

Speaker 1:

Ew.

Speaker 2:

So I don't know. It's like anything else that he's been in the last few years. You're just like, I guess we just kind of got to see.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and it was funny. You hear Jeff Bridges' voice and you're like oh. And then you see Jared Leto and you're like oh, oh no, oh no, he's back.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean so we'll see A kind of sleeper hit at Cinemagon, one that you kind of put me on to Project.

Speaker 1:

Hail Mary, let me cook. Yeah, go ahead. Yes, sir. So obviously the author of that book wrote the Martian as well too. And then the Martian went on to make just under $700 million in 2015.

Speaker 2:

Andy Weir is the creator.

Speaker 1:

Right. So he wrote the Martian In 2021, he writes this book called Project Hail Mary. Essentially, this science teacher gets his memory wiped and sent on a mission to reignite the sun.

Speaker 2:

The sun's starting to you know, erode no Name, Sunspot Mona Mee erode Sunspot.

Speaker 1:

No Name. Sunspot, mona Mee, remember it. Sunspot's a great movie. Sunspot what's the Danny Boyle movie that had Cillian Murphy and Chris Evans in it? Why can't I remember that's another good movie.

Speaker 2:

Chris Evans Sunshine.

Speaker 1:

Sunshine, sunshine. It's a great movie, isn't that movie?

Speaker 2:

also about reigniting the sun.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, yep, cool, Yep I digress Project Hail Mary. So again he's back. Again it's a science teacher memory wiped, put on a ship to go reignite the sun, essentially Meets this like ETS character along the way and they just go on a like a space adventure together. Um, incredible, like from what I've heard, an incredible story, incredible book, like in the modern age too, which makes me happy that, like there's great books post certain years, so in the 2020s, great books are still coming out. You just need to know where to look.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Um, and then you know, uh I, once the book was written, mgm bought the film rights as well too. And then Ryan Gosling not only is starring in this movie which is what an insane get he's also an executive producer on this movie. But it's about the team you always hear Court talk about. It's not about the movie, it's about the personnel. So you add Ryan Gosling To my Tron Aries point. You get a great leading man to lead your movie. You add Greg Frazier, a great leading man to lead your movie. Um, you add greg frazier, and I always say, if greg frazier says I want to do a thing, this thing's got some potential to be great like this thing's got some great potential to it. So, um, he chose to shoot this movie. That probably is going to conflict with him working with.

Speaker 1:

You know some other directors which brings me into the lord and miller of this the the spider verse directors are directing this movie as well too. Um, 2026 release date, I believe. Um, what day. I can't. I know it's 2026, but I'm very man, I'm very keen on this one. I I truthfully think it's going to be like one of those not hidden gems. Like it might be a movie that, like, really takes off march 20th, 2026, a year from now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so super looking forward to that. I'm really looking forward to that first footage. But yeah, the team on this movie looks absolutely incredible. The fact that Greg Fraser said yes to this says a lot.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know what's going to get. I mean, the cool thing is, what's going to get people to see this movie is.

Speaker 1:

A Ryan Gosling and B you know, before the trailer starts, they're going to say from the writer of the Martian and the directors of Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse and from the cinematographer of Dune and the creator, and people are going to be like ooh, Yep.

Speaker 2:

So I think this movie has a shot to do really really well. Yep, I'm keen to check out the novel too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm going to read that book before the movie comes out.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, maybe we'll do a book review one of these days. Yeah, yeah, that would be fun.

Speaker 1:

Maybe we'll do Project Hail Mary, why not? Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

For sure, because, speaking of books, we got some Hunger Games news, yes, which I'm really looking forward to yes.

Speaker 1:

So, the next.

Speaker 2:

Hunger Games movie will be adapted from the book that just released a couple weeks ago. The latest Hunger Games prequel novel, sunrise on the Reaping, will be out, or is out, and the movie will be out next November. Ballads and Songbirds and Snakes was really really good. I really liked it. I think Rachel Zegler was incredible in that movie and this for those of you who don't know Sunrise on the Reaping takes place in the second quarter quell, which is the Hamish Abernathy quarter quell.

Speaker 1:

A District 12 winning a quarter quell. He's him, he's him.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so this will settle around Hamish Abernathy. We'll see some other characters from you know, specifically from Catching Fire in this movie. This is a story that people have been dying to have told Suzanne Collins delivered. Shout out to Suzanne Collins, by the way. I just want to say she kind of lapped JK Rowling.

Speaker 2:

I was just about to say In terms of just as like as an author, just as a human being, I think you know, for so many years they were like Hunger Games. Harry Potter was kind of like neck and neck as far as like young adult. But I feel like, especially looking at both these you know, both these sagas with adult eyes, I feel like the Hunger Games stuff has more to it and more story to tell than the Harry Potter stories ever had, which I never thought I'd ever say. But I mean, man, if you ever go back to those Hunger Games books, they still hold up through an adult lens? Yes, they do.

Speaker 2:

The movies really hold up. The movies really, especially Catching Fire. I'll die on this film. Dog, that's one of the best young adult science fiction movies ever. That movie really, really holds up. Like I said, ballads of Songbirds and Snakes was really, really good and I'm really looking forward to this too. I was shocked at how quick they announced from the book being released to know we're adapting this. It kind of speaks to how they feel about this property still, how Lionsgate still feels about it, and for good reason. So I'm looking forward to whatever else both Suzanne Collins and this world put out.

Speaker 1:

John Wick. I'm thinking I'm back, he's back, he's back, john Wick.

Speaker 2:

5 has been announced yeah, keanu Reeves is back.

Speaker 1:

Remember when the last one made a billion dollars. Yeah, we're going to do a fifth one.

Speaker 2:

John Wick. John Wick, keanu Reeves is coming back. No, it's just.

Speaker 1:

John Wick. John Wick's back In real life. He's back.

Speaker 2:

And Chad Stahelski is back. I'm assuming Ando Armis is going to work her way into this movie as well, too Probably.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would think so. Let me ask you two questions. Question number one what are you looking for out of this movie? What's the next natural progression for a character at this point in this journey? Just having seen the other four movies, I'm not going to count the ballerina as well too.

Speaker 2:

I mean it's a really interesting question because it felt like John Wick 4 was kind of like the natural conclusion of that right, where he kind of gets out and John Wick 1 had him out and then he got pulled back in. So you really can't retread that ground, unless the plan is that he is just going to totally upend the system.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Maybe he goes on like a personal revenge tour against like he, like he flips into, like a I need to almost like an.

Speaker 2:

Ethan hunt type arc.

Speaker 1:

Sure.

Speaker 2:

Like he goes, like he goes rogue against the agency.

Speaker 1:

Sure. My second question I need two actors added into this franchise. That would just ignite this thing.

Speaker 2:

That's a really good question. I'm thinking I kind of feel like man, they've gotten so many great action-oriented actors, man, I don't even know. I would love to see, in some shape or or form, mahershala Ali take a swing that's good.

Speaker 2:

That's good if he's not going to do Blade, he might as well do this. That's good. So I think that would be definitely one of my. I would love to see Mahershala Ali dip into this world. As for a second one, I man again, there's so many because they're like they. They've are like, to their credit, they've already gotten so many um actors that I would love to see in these, like they've gotten, you know, donnie yen. They've gotten. Uh, hiroki sanada was in one of these um, so I don't even I don't even know who else I would cast like action wise from in one of these. So I don't even know who else I would cast action-wise in one of these. Did you have a name?

Speaker 1:

I would love to see Anya Taylor-Joy in this universe. I think she fits the bill. I would also love to see Simu Liu in here. Oh, yeah, and let him keep cooking and let him keep getting his just due for just not being cast in anything for a little bit. There, After Shang-Chi and Barbie, they just said you know what? We're good.

Speaker 2:

It's just absurd.

Speaker 1:

I think he's great. I think he would fit into that universe incredibly well. You don't have to teach him how to fight. You don't have to teach him how to fight. And Anya Taylor-Joy fits the espionage half, Simu Liu fits the hand-to-hand half and the comedy half too.

Speaker 2:

No, simu Liu's a great one. I really like that. Yeah, I mean, I'm just looking forward. I'm looking forward to the ballerina, first and foremost.

Speaker 1:

They're also doing an animated prequel series that I think Keanu Reeves is lending the voice. Work to Keanu Reeves is always down to do a voice.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, Keanu Reeves is always down to do a voice. Oh yeah, so that's really really cool. I'm really really excited for that. Cinemacon had a lot of stuff that I was excited for now. You've seen me three man. Look the first one. I love the first one as like contrived as those plot elements are and like the twists and everything, I think that movie is really really fun.

Speaker 1:

I think the movie's really really well acted yes, um, and everybody's bought in, because you have. You have this weird smorgasbord of actors that it could have went very wrong but it is a very eclectic cast but you.

Speaker 2:

But it went absolutely right yeah, I I think those movies have jesse eisenberg at kind of like his best as far as like kind of the character actor he was at the time, like this dick, dickish type figure. I think Woody Harrelson's really really good in this. They got Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine in these movies. I know, bring them both back cowards.

Speaker 2:

I liked Mark Ruffalo as the you know cowards. I liked Mark Ruffalo as the plot twist. Spoiler alert for the first night you see Mark Ruffalo as the architect of the entire operation, which again the plot elements and plot contrivances of those movies are a little goofy. I think the fun thing about this third one is Isla Fisher is coming back. She was not in the second one.

Speaker 2:

And she's coming back for this. She was kind of like pseudo-replaced by Lizzie Kaplan in the second one and now she's coming back Right. And then the third one she's back. I like the second one because Daniel Radcliffe was in it and he's just absurd. I love the arc. He's enigmatic in that movie Radcliffe is on man. He just takes on these bombastic, insane roles. Also kind of cool that they got him to play like an evil magician.

Speaker 1:

I'm calling it right now in the next 10 years. This is my hot. I don't even know if it's a super hot. Take just the way that hollywood set up studios like 824, set up daniel crowd radcliffe will have an oscar in his lifetime oh, yeah, oh, I could see that for sure, I think, yeah, I think he's putting together quite a resume.

Speaker 2:

Um, under the, under the, under the hood there. Um reuben fleischer is coming back for this third movie, um, and it's coming out this year, it's coming out this november. So I'm looking forward to seeing seeing more of the, the now it's it's, uh, almost 10 years since the second one, um, so I'm really looking forward to that. What else we got here? Karate kidate.

Speaker 1:

Kid. All right, listen, why does this movie look so good? Look, man, I'm in, I'm absolutely in. I'm emotional watching this trailer. This movie's got heart. It's got definitive heart right out of the gate. The kid that they got to play the who is this kid? Wasn't he in something else that we saw?

Speaker 2:

I don't I think this might be his debut. Is it his debut? I think it might be Ben Wang he was. He was an American-born Chinese, okay, but aside from that, he does not have a long or I really like the.

Speaker 1:

I really like the. I really like the director that they chose for this. If I'm not mistaken, he did I'm not okay with this on netflix, which I watched, and then he did end of the effing world on netflix, which is one of my favorite shows. I love that show so much. I love that show so so much. Um, it's a great pick as well too. Um, he's only 41. The director, which is one of my favorite shows. I love that show so much. I love that show so so much. It's a great pick as well, too. He's only 41, the director, which is great.

Speaker 2:

The director.

Speaker 1:

Yep, so no, he did a phenomenal job with End of the F-ing World and I mean just bringing him into something like this, bringing him into the franchise. It's giving me the same energy I got from Stephen Caple Jr, who turned into like the hey, let me direct a movie inside of the franchise when the directors say that I want to stop making them. It's funny that it happened twice with Creed and Transformers. But I really like Stephen Caple Jr. This feels the same way of like he gets stepped into this franchise, especially after Cobra Kai. He's gonna have a little bit of heavier lifting to do post Cobra Kai because, hey, I don't know if Cobra Kai is even like. I don't know if it's. Is it canon? We have to talk about canon with the Karate Kid universe. What happened to the game that I love?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think they've said that it's not canon to Karate Kid or Karate or Cobra Kai, it's just canon to the films.

Speaker 1:

Which means that Cobra Kai is in a separate universe. Oh no, the Cobra Kai will appear in Avengers Doomsday. Didn't I say this?

Speaker 2:

the last time we talked about this, where I said the big plot twist is that this Ralph Macchio is going to fight Ralph Macchio from the Cobra Kai universe.

Speaker 1:

It's two separate. Ralph Macchios oh, he doesn't have a family in this universe, or anything like that.

Speaker 2:

Like we're in the Karate Kid extended multiverse how does Jaden Smith play into all this? He's gonna be the post credit scene.

Speaker 1:

If he's the post credit scene of this movie, I'm gonna lose it.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna lose it this movie looks solid, man, I'm really looking forward to it the action looks real tight.

Speaker 1:

I think I also said that, depending on how this movie goes, I would love to see um this kid, ben wang, be the linley iron fist he'd be great, he would be phenomenal um, I think that would be really, really cool, especially if maybe they're gonna bring back finn jones yeah, why not have two iron fists, like and I said, if they're gonna do finn jones which we'll talk about next week when we talk about Daredevil, like just go full send, make him Iron Fist. Like literally grab I forget who grabbed the immortal Iron Fist run and just do it Like I just don't know why it's so complicated to do that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, man, karate kid, I can't wait. We got a Beatles casting. Yeah, yep, we got a Beatles casting. Yeah, yep, man, it's like a. They got the Beatles of actors To be the Beatles.

Speaker 1:

Cast. How are you feeling about this cast? I mean, some people were very upset I heard, but then some people were very happy, Like I don't know. I think it's fine. I mean, you got.

Speaker 2:

Four of the best British people.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you've got Harris Dickinson who's going to be Cyclops. Sure, paul Mescal, obviously channel favorite, one of my favorite new I don't even want to say new, but younger actors.

Speaker 2:

Barry Keegan.

Speaker 1:

Careful with Barry Keegan. Villain yeah, villain. Question mark Barry Keegan and Joseph Quinn Quinn, who's great in everything so far that he's been in.

Speaker 2:

Yeah and people are still like we don't know. He's great in everything. He's not been bad in one thing that I've seen him in was I on that train a little bit.

Speaker 1:

I wasn't on the train, but I was at the station.

Speaker 2:

I was at the station. You were skeptical.

Speaker 1:

You bought a ticket. I bought the ticket but then I threw it away. I said you know what? I'm staying. It was like a romantic comedy. I'm staying.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, joseph Quinn's just good at everything. And people were still like I don't know.

Speaker 1:

He was really good in Gladiator 2.

Speaker 2:

He was really good in A Quiet Place. He won. He was really good in how many more? How many more times does he have to be good at things before we're like wait, is he a good actor? Unfortunately, the fantastic four is yeah that's the one where people will make or break him don't worry, I'm sure he's gonna be good in that too. Um, but yeah, I think this cat did you tell me before this is gonna be four movies yes, it's four movies.

Speaker 1:

Get lost four movies. Who's directing?

Speaker 2:

this isn't it um who's that's too many movies.

Speaker 1:

Somebody big's directing this.

Speaker 2:

I don't need my Beatles movies to be Avenger-fied.

Speaker 1:

Who's directing? Oh, sam Mendes is going to direct this. All of them. Yes, he made 1917. He'll be fine. I mean, he's great, he's phenomenal.

Speaker 2:

But I don't know if I need yeah that I agree with, I don't need four standalone.

Speaker 1:

I just learned today that the Michael Jackson biopic is going to be split into two parts in the same year.

Speaker 2:

I don't think I need four standalone Beatles films before we get the Ringo Starr movie. You're not seeded for that. But are they going to be like John Lennon, the first Beatle?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, chapter one, chapter two, two, chapter three, no, no. And then they're gonna see somebody, so they're gonna team up with timothy chalamet's bob dylan at the end. I'm here to talk to you about the music initiative, oh no, and then all the music biopics are gonna merge into one singular timeline. What are? We some kind of beetles what are we some kind of beetle squad? Say that again. Who else are you going to get for this? You got Timothee Chalamet as Bob.

Speaker 1:

Dylan you have what's his name Rami Malek. Rami Malek, freddie Mercury. Who else do you got what's his name?

Speaker 2:

the four guys that played the Temptations in that Temptations TV movie you got the guys.

Speaker 1:

You got. Johnny Cash you got, you got.

Speaker 2:

Johnny Cash. You got Joaquin Phoenix and Walk the Line, johnny Cash.

Speaker 1:

What other movies Austin Butler? Oh is Elvis. Oh, listen, wait, hold on, wait a minute. You saw Zendaya's playing Ronnie Spector in an A24 movie with Barry Jenkins, which is going to be phenomenal. She's going to be in this. Can you bring back Jamie Foxx's Ray Charles Yo, now you're cooking. Now. Can you bring back jamie foxx's right charl yo, this, now you're cooking. Now you're now you're cooking. There you go. Oh, the whole cast of um, the whole cast of dream girls is in this. Oh, that is that double booking. Wait, was jamie foxx and dream girls yes oh no yeah, I just look.

Speaker 2:

I I'm cool with a beatles biopic. I just don't know if I need four standalone beatles movies before I get to the Beatles movie. Is that hypocritical of me to say when I watched four Avengers movies before?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you did, you really did.

Speaker 2:

Look if John Lennon's gonna fight Jeff Bridges in a big iron suit at the end of the John Lennon movie, then I might be in that.

Speaker 1:

Come on man I'm trying to think of.

Speaker 2:

John Lennon built this guitar in a cave with a box of scraps.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, what about La Bamba? You gotta get that guy in there. I'm just gonna, oh, pam and Tommy, the Hulu show. They're gonna be in it. Oh no, wait, what else can you get in here? Now? I'm full send into this. Who would you put in this movie? I think that's it. I think we did it. Oh no, do you get Daniel Radcliffe for the Weird Al Yankovic movie? No, you get um what's his name?

Speaker 2:

Taron Egerton, to play Elton John See.

Speaker 1:

See, now you're getting it. Now you're getting it. This is getting out of hand and I love it. You think the Jersey Boys are going to make an appearance? No, no, what if they do? Cadillac Records without a G? Yo, jeffrey Wright and Beyonce in this universe.

Speaker 2:

For some reason NWA shows up. I was going to say you get the guy that played Biggie in the movie. For some reason, NWA is in this movie. It's all one timeline Straight out of Compton. It's one timeline he just knocks out Paul.

Speaker 1:

McCartney Ice Cube. Just Ringo Starr hits him over the head with the drum.

Speaker 2:

Drum, oh God.

Speaker 1:

We lost the plot for a second, but it was worth it.

Speaker 2:

It's fine, the cast is great, they're all British, they're all great. That's what they said about the Beatles when they-.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're all.

Speaker 2:

British, they're all great. Four stars, four out of four stars. Avatar Dog Sounds like it's going to be good, are we surprised.

Speaker 1:

You want to talk about all-time haters, time haters, before we start joking around. They said what they showed and everything.

Speaker 2:

Just this movie looks it looks absolutely breathtakingly absurdly I can't wait to do this dance at the end of the year. We do every time.

Speaker 1:

It's the best christmas gift you can ask for.

Speaker 2:

They're like this movie's not going to make any money.

Speaker 1:

Yeah it is, and then it just makes two billion dollars yeah, this movie's gonna make a trillion dollars yeah and guess what's going to happen the next time in two years? It's going to make another $2 billion. Guess what's going to happen in 2029?

Speaker 2:

It's going to make another $2 billion Because these movies are great, and he finally figured out the narrative.

Speaker 1:

You make it about the sun question mark. It's not even about Jake anymore.

Speaker 2:

You make it about loak and piacon, and then that's it. Yeah, he cracked, he, he made. He made a two billion dollar movie just world building, and the second movie he was like. Let me just throw some plot in now and let me throw some character in there. Yeah, and now, now he's just off and running with these avatar movies imagine that's how you look at like now.

Speaker 1:

He's comfortable, that's what I mean? Yeah, that's kind of what happened well, the studio gave him no notes on this one. You think it's because the movie's three hours long? They're like we don't want to. Come on, man, don't make us read this. I'm not reading this, it's fine, I'm not reading this. Hand me the Avengers Doomsday script.

Speaker 2:

James, is it going to make $2 billion? And he's like, yeah, probably.

Speaker 1:

And they're like get out of here.

Speaker 2:

I filmed this one in an actual volcano. What?

Speaker 1:

I filmed this one in the sky. What, of course, I'm looking forward to? This Quaritch is going to team up with the Fire Nation. Of course he is. And be like that, jake. Sully those blue ones, no good, of course he is.

Speaker 2:

I want him to figure out a way to get back into his Stephen Lang body, though that would be absurd.

Speaker 1:

I don't know how Time travel. Oh, both of them at the same time, fighting together, you know what?

Speaker 2:

It's only a matter of time before we get there.

Speaker 1:

I still am hoping for my plot thread to come true, where Natiri ends up being the big bad of this whole thing and Jake and Korach have to team up to take her out.

Speaker 2:

That would be phenomenal. Let me help write the fifth one. James, I'm in, I'm in, you got me, it's my favorite.

Speaker 1:

No, and then they have to go back to Earth, and then the battles get taken to Earth.

Speaker 2:

The first movie's one of my favorite movies of all time. I've seen it a million times. I'm in. You don't have to convince me anymore. You're not in Kansas anymore. It's so good. I can't wait. Is this the only thing that what's his name, Sam Worthington, ever does with the rest of his life? Yes, this is his thing. This is his thing. You don't need to do anything else he can't breach any other thing. No, this is it. Dc stuff it's really just. We got Superman stuff, it's really just we got Superman stuff.

Speaker 2:

It looks great People are mad that Crypto is a dog.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, how dare Crypto be a dog? Whatever happened to the Steiner unit? Shut up. What do they?

Speaker 2:

want, do they?

Speaker 1:

want him to be something else. Yeah, they want him to murder people. He's a dog, though. Oh, you're talking about Crypto. Yeah, it's almost like this looks exactly like a comic book.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

There's robots. Yeah, there's robots. And some of you were just like I can't believe these stupid robots. I said what are we talking about? The robots have been every Superman thing, if you open the All-Star Superman. Well, somebody made a point, they were just like. It kind of feels like the people that are complaining at this are lying about reading comics. I said, yeah, they, they are flying, they're lying. I saw a panel on Reddit one time and they were like this is it? This is peak Superman. It was probably the most evil version of Superman they've ever seen. I just I don't know how you can't you watch this and you aren't hopeful. Every I legitimately get chills. Every time he saves that little girl in that slow motion shot, it gives me actual chills. Every single time, without fail. He figured it out. He figured out Superman. This movie comes out July 11th, smack dag, middle of the summer. Superman and the super adventures of super things. Like he got it, he gets it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it looks great, man. I mean that, that scene. I mean obviously the scene they show. But the moment when the fortress comes out of the arctic, you're just like all right yeah, what.

Speaker 1:

What are you cooking?

Speaker 2:

yeah, and then they just showed, I mean, the rest of the clip basically was just more of the trailer again, just with some dialogue are we gonna address this?

Speaker 1:

the, the sudden thing, the what? People were mad that the sun was hurting him and I said his bones were literally cracking back into place. What are you talking about? His bones?

Speaker 2:

were broken.

Speaker 1:

You know how hard he had to hit Superman to break a bone? Yeah, and they were shifting back into place. He's never had to feel that type of pain in his life before.

Speaker 2:

And his dog just jumped on him.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and people are like have people never broken bones before and knows what that feels like to get them shifted back? Their initial get back hurts. It's not. It's not great like I. It's just people are trying to find anything schneider fans. People are trying to find anything to, to, to be mad at, like a fun, hopeful superman movie. It's I don't. I don't get it like I.

Speaker 2:

Just I genuinely don't understand no, I yeah, I don't know people, that's that's the one thing not worried.

Speaker 1:

I think this movie's gonna do really well, I think it's gonna be really good, but obviously there's gonna be just that contingent that just is not gonna want to hear it the only thing that I counted to that point is me looking at like the me looking at the comments for like the trailers and me seeing, like I was there when christopher reeves was superman and I've been waiting for something like this to come, like that group of people like going in force to see this movie because, like again, the steiner stuff, whatever superman as the character in the world supersedes all of that, like just the way that he is the hope that he brings it's, it's above all of that and I think way that he is the hope that he brings it's above all of that, and I think the fans with that are going to be more powerful and that's what's going to get this movie over a billion dollars.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, I agree, it's just going to be a very loud, very angry group of people that are just going to not want to hear it.

Speaker 1:

Essentially Just absurd. It's weird.

Speaker 2:

Marvel. Mostly Spider-Man, though has something to do with Spider-Man. So we got a title card reveal for the next iteration of the Tom Holland movies, obviously directed by Dustin Daniel Cretton brand new day, spider-man. Obviously, spider-man is before the brand new day. Bit from the way I said it, they're casting this movie actively and I'm really, really looking forward to it. I'm really keen on what Dustin Daniel Cretton has planned for this movie.

Speaker 1:

And they're looking for an Asian actor from 30 to 50. A Chinese actor right From 30 to 50? I believe. So, yeah, which obviously means Mr Negative is going to be one of the villains of this film, who debuted in the Brand New Day comic as well. So I feel that makes me feel great the brand new day comic as well. So I feel that makes me feel great.

Speaker 1:

Obviously, if you played the spider-man playstation game, you're very familiar with mr negative and the narrative potential that he can hold, especially with um, especially with daniel destin cretin as well. That makes me very, I'm very excited to see that as well too. Um, you get the right actor in that place. You know. You have, you know, a great villain potential and spider-man so encompassing, you know, even in the mcu of the villains being the stronger pieces. Obviously, no way home kind of usurps that a bit, but you look at jake gyllenhaal as mysterio, michael keaton as vulture, like those are two of the stronger villains out of the mcu that there's been um. Adding mr negatives into that fold, I think is going to be great. So, uh, they're also casting a 30 to 50 woman as well and that's who people believe is the main villain of this movie. I couldn't tell you who I would want to be in that role. I'm trying to think of somebody Viola Davis. Viola Davis could be cool. I don't know how old she is, but yeah, but still.

Speaker 1:

It doesn't have to be a hard stop.

Speaker 2:

Also Sadie Sings also in this movie.

Speaker 1:

Yes, okay, let's get this out of the way. Is she just Gwen Stacy? Yeah, I think so, but you think they're going to do what they did with Zendaya and, like Gwendolyn Stacey, no, no no.

Speaker 2:

Or you think it's actually going just be Gwen Stacy, and I think people are freaking out because of her hair color, as if she can't just dye her hair.

Speaker 1:

Bryce Dallas Howard is a redhead and she was blonde in Spider-Man 3.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so people are like is she playing Jean Grey? No, no, no, All right, Is she playing the actual Mary Jane Watson? I'm like you guys realize that she can change her hair color Right.

Speaker 1:

No, she can't. She's not allowed to. They cast her and she's never allowed to touch her hair ever again.

Speaker 2:

So I think Gwen Stacy makes a ton of sense, I think I mean, I guess, if you want to go a different route, she could be Black Cat.

Speaker 1:

Maybe that 30 to 50. Actor is Black Cat.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I could see that too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then I just think she's either Gwen Stacy there's another character that debuted in Brand New Day that people think she might be another love interest for Spider-Man, because obviously he forgets about Mary Jane and he like undoes his marriage with her. I just I think she's gonna play a love interest to him, but she's also, like they said, she's like a fierce. Fierce, like do-it-herself type of person as well. She's not playing Jean Grey. No, yes, there's no X-Men in this movie. Calm down.

Speaker 2:

There's plenty of X-Men in other movies. Yes, that we're going to get to. Also, I think Daniel Wu would be a great Mr Negative. Stowing that out there, my guy from Into the Badlands.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that'd be pretty dang good. That'd be pretty dang good. That'd be pretty dang good. Yeah, or get the actor from the game.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, he was tremendous.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he was, he was incredible.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he was great. Beyond the Spider-Verse. We got a little bit about that movie. It's coming out in 2027. Two years away. Two years away it's a long time, but it's fine. I've said this before delays are fine. Just give people time to make the thing that they want to make right, and apparently this movie is like bananas.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they said.

Speaker 2:

They said they're they're trying out new animation techniques, like they're pushing the envelope much in the way, like john wick does with the action genre, the into the spider-verse continues to do so with animation, which I think is great.

Speaker 1:

Yep I think they're gonna I think they're gonna go the fullest of full send, like I genuinely think, like the live action spider-man will be. All three of them will be in this movie like they're good. They're not gonna save any expense. Um, the biggest hot take I have for this movie is this movie will pull from whatever happens in doomsday. That's my hottest of hot take. I.

Speaker 2:

I think. So I think they've already kind of said that this movie's gonna bridge that, so I think that would be cool.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Fantastic Four Just give us the footage, man. Yeah, they showed off some things that were like incredible, that were pretty impressive.

Speaker 1:

Just give us the movie. They said the look of the physical look of this movie, like they were using vintage lenses, like they call it the fantastic vision, like I love that. Yeah, I love that. I love the whole approach, like even the launch for the first trailer.

Speaker 2:

Loved it, loved it, loved it, loved it, loved it.

Speaker 1:

I don't think I've ever been this excited for a Marvel movie Like and we're talking and I can't tell you the last time I was this excited for any Marvel movie. I think Infinity War, sorry in the new phase, oh yeah, in the multiverse saga. I had never been this excited for a movie.

Speaker 2:

I think Spider-Man no Way Home. I think had that.

Speaker 1:

This feels different.

Speaker 2:

It is different because no Way Home was anticipating the nostalgia stuff. This is like we're actually anticipating this, because it's we don't, we don't know and this just looks like a great film yeah, um, so they showed off some silver surfer stuff apparently in this footage.

Speaker 2:

Still not a lot of reed richards powers, which again goes to my idea that I don't think we're gonna see them a ton. I think. Again I'm gonna say this I've said it before when we've talked about this idea behind reed richards, like, his superpower is not the stretchiness, his superpower is his mind yes, so I think that's what this movie is gonna leave in this footage that they showed off.

Speaker 1:

It's. That's the point, yes, and you know what I was talking about. And we, we kind of said with Pedro Pascal, the casting, one of the unsaid things about it is like Reed Richards is like a jerk. He's not a jerk, but he's like a. He's a closed off, you know, nihilistic, even thinking type of person. That's like I I'm not nihilistic, but like he's so predicated on, like I can solve everything. He's like a. He's a he's a shut in, like he's like I can fix everything and again, I can solve everything.

Speaker 2:

He's a shut-in Like he's like I can fix everything and again I think this movie's going to lean into that and lean into the duality of Reed Richards.

Speaker 1:

Yes, finally.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you're going to see like the front-facing PR version of Reed and then you're going to see like the behind closed doors sealed off, kind of cold. I think you're going to see both those things and I think that's a really good tact for the character and for the story, because I think the ultimate destination of this movie is that they fail it counters the hopefulness of the booming 60s and especially this retro, futuristic 60s.

Speaker 1:

And that PR Reed Richards you were talking about, that's the perfect counter, is the actual Reed Richards. It's the one that's like I'd rather be in a lab than be at a press tour and making all this money. Like I'd rather be in front of some equations and from this footage you know, shallow bell comes to earth and basically says you know your world's marked for death. I think Matt Shackman came out and said there's no other superheroes that are waiting in the winds in this universe Like we. We had that theory that like there was a 60s spider-man running around and a 60s iron man running around, but that's not the case. This is just the fantastic four like. And also they dealt with everything in this universe. Like all their villains have been dealt with, yeah, and there's nobody around yeah except for one, which I'll get to.

Speaker 1:

But and then you know shalabal comes and says your, you know, your world has been marked for death. Aw, dang it, yep. And then you know the world starts to panic and they said like, are you guys going to help us? And they're like, yeah, sure, and Reed's like I don't know. And again you see the cracks in Reed Richards, like his facade starts to go like he's real big, yeah, yep. Like, like, yeah, hold this ultimate nullifier, cuz that should be one of the lines in the movie Ben, punch him, punch him, clobber time cuz it's clobber time.

Speaker 2:

That man has the appearance of someone who's about to tell you what time it is.

Speaker 1:

I couldn't be happier. They got Eben Mosbacher to play the thing.

Speaker 2:

I know.

Speaker 1:

That's one of the most inspired castings in the entire MCU. It's really good. Um, I think he's gonna be the heart and soul of this movie as well too. Um, you got a little bit more of johnny as well, too, just talking like obviously we didn't hear, we barely heard him talk in the trailer. He like talked the least out of everybody as well too. Um, but they said shala ball looks, silver surfer looks really cool, really good, really cool. Um, again, they just said the way this movie looks. This movie physically looks really good, which I'm really excited about as well too.

Speaker 2:

So I'm really looking forward to this.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I just think shackman has like a an absolute handle on this thing and he's gonna get handed the keys to the castle when the russo's you know this inner, this intermittent, you know take their, they're having like they're just going to give it to Shackman after. Yeah, and again, I think Shackman just takes the X-Men. Shackman might pass the Fantastic Four to somebody else he trusts. Maybe he passes it to Jack Schafer, maybe he passes the Fantastic Four to Jack Schafer and he takes the X-Men.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I can see that. Yeah, I think they got a really great setup with this kind of like corner of the Marvel Universe between him. I think Destin Daniel Crichton again is incredible, really looking forward to see what he does with Spider-Man again. Everyone needs to relax. Marvel's gonna be okay. I think we get the Thunderbolts next month. I'm really pumped for that.

Speaker 1:

I just think that movie's gonna be and again I said it about like I think Brave New World was the last of like the pump out as much stuff initiative that Disney had, and Thunderbolts is the start of quality over quantity again you could argue Daredevil might have even been the start just movies wise just movies wise.

Speaker 1:

I think Thunderbolts was the first one to, and again they went as far to make the absolute cinema trailer. They were like, look at this personnel, we got on this movie. Yeah, like you guys like indie movies, here's your first indie superhero movie. Have fun in the MCU. Have fun.

Speaker 2:

Speaking of personnel.

Speaker 1:

The Minecraft movie no Making a jillion dollars. I the Minecraft movie Nope Making a jillion dollars. I'm not, I can't say I'm surprised, were people confused as to what the target audience was for this. Yes, children. Are people mad that children get to enjoy a movie?

Speaker 2:

Oh man, A movie about one of the most profitable.

Speaker 1:

Probably the worst smelling movie theater you've ever went to Axe body spray everywhere.

Speaker 2:

You mean a movie about, you know, a movie based on One of the most profitable, most beloved, most played video games Of all times. Making a ton of money the target audience Is like six to.

Speaker 1:

I'm shocked.

Speaker 2:

Of course this movie Is going to make money.

Speaker 1:

It's like printing money Right now.

Speaker 2:

Jack Black was built For a movie like this.

Speaker 1:

The movie is going to Make a billion dollars. Like it's just printing out money yeah, and jack black's funny.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, jason momoa's funny. Kids are gonna like jack black.

Speaker 1:

Right, it's been that full, been that way for when I was a kid, you know jack black was still really funny. Guess what? So yeah, of course people are enjoying death taxes and jack black's a fun guy.

Speaker 2:

of course kids are enjoying this movie. Jack I, he was the voice voice of Bowser and he was guess what? He was funny. Yeah, I enjoyed him as an adult man.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, watching the Mario movie and Jack Black was still funny. Yeah, I just think he's going to be a. Okay, that's our Minecraft talk. This movie's printing money, it's making it's. That was not his fault. He got set up.

Speaker 2:

Him and Lizzo.

Speaker 1:

They got set up. What was going on there? I don't what a.

Speaker 2:

Man. The Mandalorian season three.

Speaker 1:

What a bizarre episode, yeah that was a bizarre season a little bit.

Speaker 2:

That was a really bizarre. That movie's coming out this year.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. I just that movie's done, it is done, it's filmed and we haven't seen a thing. That's a bit scary.

Speaker 2:

It's because Pedro Pascal wasn't there. Yeah, yeah, he just did the voice work.

Speaker 1:

He was too busy with Sunday dinner at 7. I love that bit.

Speaker 2:

I saw it again. It got my phone, got alerted. I was like, oh, it's 7 o'clock. Fantastic Four tweeted something. I'm like, ah, it's that goddamn clip again. All right, avengers.

Speaker 1:

So Marvel did this really baffling. I have a Ooh. I think it was one of the smartest things. I think it was absurdly smart. I think it was stupid smart.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, of course it was my boy's wicked smart, but it was like Marvel's coming out with the best news of all time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah they made a big deal about it.

Speaker 2:

And then the live stream starts and we're just revealing chairs.

Speaker 1:

The first chair's. There it says Chris Hemsworth. We were on the fence like is he going to come back?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

He said yes.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, that's what this ended up being. It was a, it was a cast reveal for avengers doomsday. The last chair, of course, was robert downey jr. Now I will say if they, if the comic-con thing had never happened, right, dog and they, we had no clue who was playing dr doom. And then you get to that last chair down Downey walks in and you're like I mean, you don't get the Comic-Con live reaction.

Speaker 1:

But what if he just has the mask in his hand, the Doom mask in his hand, and walks away?

Speaker 2:

Right and does the and then the Avengers theme plays.

Speaker 1:

Like that new Avengers theme.

Speaker 2:

The new Avengers theme, yeah yeah, yeah, that would have been really cool. So yeah that's what this was, so I guess we'll just rattle down this cast list and just kind of quick chat about this before we get into our gimmick. So yes, the first chair that you mentioned, chris Hemsworth. Cool, I'm glad that Thor is back. I'm especially excited that Thor is back for reasons that we'll get to in a couple minutes, but cool, I'm glad that Thor is back.

Speaker 1:

I'm glad he's back with the Russos. That's the best version of Thor is with the Russos. I'm expecting this.

Speaker 2:

I'm once again expecting a course correction.

Speaker 1:

For back for Thor yes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, second, I'm also very curious to know if these were in any sort of order. No, like billing wise, or if they were just random.

Speaker 1:

The end is definitely billing like it makes sense that pedro pascal is only behind robert downey jr in terms of billing because it was just very.

Speaker 2:

I was very intrigued by how they positioned, specifically like the teams like they didn't like put the teams, except for one team that we'll get yeah to in a little bit but like chris hemsworth being the first name, I was like oh yeah. And then the second name was vanessa kirby, which I was like oh yeah, I was like, wow, I'm my theory is right my my long shot theory of her being like the face of the mcu, going forward.

Speaker 2:

I'm like, oh, so yeah, vanessa kirby, anthony mackie, yep, was third, which is, which is great. Yep, captain america um sebastian stan, which I don't. I think people maybe were a little surprised by um you know, based on the Thunderbolts, and what his future holds so I think interesting that he's down there. Another interesting one, Letitia Wright. So we will be seeing Sherry again.

Speaker 1:

I just watched Black Panther a few days ago, black Panther 2. It's one of the best Rise arcs that we got. I talked about phase four specifically being about loss and legacy, like that was the best marriage of those two, those two themes, and it was the man that her ascension to being the black panther. It's incredible, it is, it's it's out. It's one of the I will die on that hill that leticia writes. Performance in black panther 2 is one of the single best performances inside of the MCU. It is outstanding how good she is. I'm glad that they made the decision Now. Do I think that she's going to survive through this? I think she's going to die, like? I think she'll die and that they'll recast T'Challa once the universe is remade, but for now, as her as Black Panther incredible Like.

Speaker 1:

I is remade, but for now, as her, as Black Panther incredible. I'm so glad she's back and we have a Black Panther.

Speaker 2:

Paul Rudd was next. They gave him a little chair. I'm very interested to see what his role in this is going to be.

Speaker 1:

You know what his role is going to be. I was thinking about this. He's going to be the one that's like I'm one of the OG Avengers.

Speaker 2:

They're like well kind of Not really, though I'm very interested in his role in this because of what happened with Quantumania. He was obviously very directly tied to the Kang stuff and clearly the Kang stuff is poof Smoke.

Speaker 1:

Does it make it a little easy that Kang was dealt with Like it was the biggest blessing in disguise, that Ant-Man actually did beat Kang?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it's like you know, like are we going to know? Are we going to hear about that? Well, if he meets Loki.

Speaker 1:

Loki will probably tell him we dealt with it and he's like oh, thank God, thank God, that guy beat my butt, thank. God yeah, so I'm very curious to see what his role is going to be in a into this. He could be the one that's kind of bridging all the Avengers Because he's famous. Now. He might be the one with the Avengers, the West Coast Avengers mansion. He might be the first call that Sam makes.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, sam might be like. I need you. I need you, tic-tac. I'm putting together a team that's very possible. Based on this group, he might be the one that houses the Avengers. Yeah, he's rich. He's rich and famous. Now it might be him.

Speaker 2:

Wyatt Russell, yep, us agent. I think that's a good call.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait for that. I just I want somebody made this argument and I'm actually in this Top three post end game character that we've had, like the multiversal. Sagi is one of the best characters that we've had so far. I want to see what they do with him in the Thunderbolts, but he is one of the most compelling characters that we've had in this new phase.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would agree with that. Another kind of surprising one, Tanak Huerta.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Is back as Namor.

Speaker 1:

Obviously there was some stuff that had gone on in his personal life that I thought he was never coming back to play Namor again. So to get him back. Obviously that's dealt with.

Speaker 2:

Again, another character that I'm very interested to see how he coalesces with.

Speaker 1:

When they said the Wakandans, I don't think they just meant the Wakandans, I think they meant the Black Panther Squad, which includes Tenak Werta.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, which includes Talakhan. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yep.

Speaker 2:

So I think, unfortunately Churi and him are going to have to team up for whatever happens, and also there might be some Illuminati stuff it's either Illuminati stuff or he's going to join Doom.

Speaker 1:

He's just going to join him and he's going to be like no, this guy actually understands, he gets it this man gets it.

Speaker 2:

Evan Boss Macrock, obviously as the thing. Another name that I was delighted to see Simu Liu. They got my boy out of prison. What did he do? He literally did not.

Speaker 1:

Another name that I was delighted to see Simu Liu. They got my boy out of prison. What did he do? He literally did not do anything. They got my boy out of prison. Shang-chi will indeed return. Let's go, man. I was so happy to see that Seven years later after his first appearance.

Speaker 2:

That made me so happy. I was like, yes, he's back. Florence Pugh as Yolanda Belova, we'll be back. I don't think there's a surprise there. Kelsey Grammer so yeah, this is where it's like alright cool, but like, okay, we saw the Marvels, we knew that something's cooking yeah, I think they did well, because we'll talk about the other stuff in a second, but it was interesting how they positioned him versus the other, because they did some other names.

Speaker 1:

I think they did that purposely because of the post-credits scene Like this is no surprise, it's cool, there's no surprise.

Speaker 2:

Kelsey Grammer also famously loves playing.

Speaker 1:

Beast Yep, Especially now that he doesn't have to put the makeup on anymore. He's like I'll freaking play Beast for a million years.

Speaker 2:

So I'm glad that he got his wish. Century will be in this.

Speaker 1:

I think he's gonna play a pretty decent part in this movie. I would. I think he's gonna play the part where they're just like oh thank God we have somebody that can deal with doom, and then he click, kicks into the void. They're like now we got to deal with this on top of that too.

Speaker 2:

No, no oh no, no, danny Ramirez returns is.

Speaker 1:

Joaquin.

Speaker 2:

Torres, which Captain America Brave that, he's kind of like the first Avenger. Joseph Quinn, Human Torch again no surprise. David Harbour, Red Guardian, a little bit of a surprise.

Speaker 1:

Sure sure.

Speaker 2:

A little bit of a surprise that he's going to be in this Winston Duke in Baku. I think is great.

Speaker 1:

Yes, why wouldn't you want the King of Wakanda to be in this movie?

Speaker 2:

I think he's great. He's been great in everything that he's been in so far. I great in everything that he's been in so far.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait till he sees the thing, the comedic gold potential that we could have.

Speaker 2:

Hannah John come in as Ghost again. I think another moderate surprise. But then you start to obviously you understand what's going on here Avengers, thunderbolts, fantastic Four, and then hold, hold, hold. Another pleasant surprise Tom hiddleston will be back as loki, which I think is awesome.

Speaker 1:

I think it's incredible. I mean, they dealt with the kang stuff in it. It kind of it's what we thought was going to happen for kang dynasty that kang was going to immediately go after loki to try to end the multiverse that way, like just kill loki. He can't hold the multiverse. I just think doom is gonna do that to him. Maybe that's the catalyst that explodes the multiverse. Is loki holding them?

Speaker 2:

yeah, and you just gotta, you gotta give thor and loki man, you just gotta, you gotta do it. Um, that's, I'm really looking forward to that. And then, and, and then this thing goes off the rails for about 45 minutes. Patrick Stewart is back as Professor.

Speaker 1:

X and you're like all right, still been in an MCU movie before. Makes sense Makes sense.

Speaker 2:

Makes sense. Is he going to die again? Probably. Yeah, it's Professor X's calling card. Yep, plot twist they bring him back as McAvoy. No, no, no plot twist, they bring him back as um mcavoy no, no, no.

Speaker 1:

They bring patrick stewart in as the uh like ultimate professor x.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, the helmet, yeah, and the spandex, yep. Just seeing patrick stewart play that version of professor x would be funny. Um, and then, and then it starts to get wild ian mckellen, and you're like huh, sir ian mckellen.

Speaker 1:

And then you're like, okay, now this is getting, but still a little piece of you Is like Make sense of Patrick Stortz there.

Speaker 2:

Sir Ian McKellen Is back as Magneto. I can't believe it. I genuinely can't believe that he'd come back.

Speaker 1:

I still was A little bit like Okay, like it still made sense to me the next one when I was like Huh, yes, so Alan Cumming is coming back as Nightcrawler. Brother what?

Speaker 2:

And that's when I was like okay, what is this?

Speaker 1:

I have my theory, but keep going because it still keeps getting crazier.

Speaker 2:

Rebecca Romijn comes back and people are like I think that was the one where people were like huh, who, who, and they jumped on the Google machine and they're like wait, oh shoot, she played Mystique in the original X-Men trilogy, so she's back. And then James Marsden got revealed.

Speaker 1:

Let me just get into it. James Marsden's having a great year already. He's in one of the most famous shows this year Paradise, sonic, sonic, paradise, but sonic, sonic. What they did for cyclops and x-men 97 is exactly what they're gonna do with james marsden in this movie. Like this is your chance to, and I think that's purposely why they didn't reveal hugh jackman was gonna be in this movie. Yet obviously him and deadpool are gonna be in this movie, but I think that was the absolute intention was the fact to get james marsden back to being the Cyclops as the actual field leader of the X-Men, and that's going to lean into and it gives him his justice man. James Marsden deserves it.

Speaker 2:

I think we do need to kind of do a little. We don't have to do so much theorizing about the Avengers or the Thunderbolts. I feel like their roles are relatively straightforward.

Speaker 1:

I think it's the.

Speaker 2:

X-Men characters, where we have to kind of spin the wheel a little bit and then the last couple reveals Channing Tatum will be back as Gambit.

Speaker 1:

Right, I hope they don't treat it as a joke. I do think he's actually going to be like a I think he's going to be like proper Gambit Again.

Speaker 2:

It's going to roll into my theory about the X-Men characters in a second Pedro Pascal, Mr Fantastic and, of course, Robert Downey Jr, as Doctor Doom rounds out the cast for now. Yes, marvel has said, there will be more announcements soon.

Speaker 1:

Yes, we took care of it for them. That's our show for the day. We took care of it.

Speaker 2:

There are some actors and characters conspicuous by their absence, for sure.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Quite a few.

Speaker 1:

Yeah right.

Speaker 2:

But let's just spit the block on these X-Men characters for a second. So my theory coming off of the Marvels was whatever universe that all these X-Men are going to be from the same universe the Kelsey Grammer that we saw in the Marvels is going to be the same universe as these actors, as these other as these other. X-men actors, and I don't think they are going to be one-to-one the Fox X-Men characters. No, I think they're going to be in the vein of inspired by, however you want to say, the animated X-Men characters.

Speaker 1:

I think this team is the X-Men 97 team in the present day.

Speaker 2:

They're the X-Men 25. That's how it's going to go. I think this team is the X-Men 97 team.

Speaker 1:

In the present day, they're the X-Men 25. That's how it's going to go and it's specific. It was Nightcrawler and it was Gambit that really said okay, this seems like this is actually, and Cyclops and Cyclops, because I think they're going to put him in the costume.

Speaker 2:

They're all going to be in the costume. Yes, 100%. Like the colorful blue and yellow for Cyclops Gambits. We already kind of saw the Gambit costume, obviously, Alan Cummings is going to be in them. I think they're going to put Sir Ian McKellen in the red and purple Magneto costume.

Speaker 1:

And Professor X has already been in the chair. He already did it in Multiverse of Madness.

Speaker 2:

I think yeah, yes, yes, 100 times yes.

Speaker 1:

Like an older version, like they've been through so much version of the X-Men. And this would be the last of Jeffery you want to talk about how not nostalgia bait, but this one feels more natural of everybody's about to get their due for my childhood X-Men. Yeah, I literally grew up, we grew up with watching these X-Men and finally we're going to see them as the fully-fledged, full versions of themselves. That X-Men 97 being incredible. You're not going to miss on that opportunity. And then you add the characters. You have Binary, who's on this team of X-Men. You can add a few new X-Men in here which will get us into the bridge gap.

Speaker 1:

Just rounding out obviously the will lead the Avengers. I think that obviously Anthony's going to, or Sam's going to, lead them and then he'll make his calls. He'll get his Avengers team. He's going to call Bucky Bucky's, like I got a team of my own. I think Doom's going to go after the Vibranium, which is going to get the Wakandans and the Talakanians together to be like sir, no, no, thanks. And then obviously, I think by the end of that movie the Fantastic Four are going to end up in the main 616.

Speaker 2:

And the Fantastic Four, I think are going to be an interesting place because they're going to I'm assuming they're going to come fresh off of a failure to stop their world from being destroyed Right.

Speaker 1:

And then, obviously, the big theory that I think is it's true. I just don't. I don't see that being the last movie before Doomsday, and this isn't true, that the Robert Downey Jr is the fantastic, he's the, he's the he's the Doctor Doom of the Fantastic Four universe.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and that's going to lead like that's going to lead to a natural clash between Reed Richards and the other leaders of these other factions.

Speaker 1:

And you know what helps to. But again, reed Richards, being this nihilistic schemer, is immediately going to be. Who's the I don't care about the rest of you who's the leader of all of these? So, the new Illuminati? I think it's going to be Sam Wilson, I think it's going to, it's going to be Sam, it's going to be Bruce, it's going to be Carol, sam, bruce, carol. It'll be Professor X, it'll be Black Panther, letitia Wright, it'll be Reed. Who would be the last one on this team? Probably Namor right, I have a different one or Namor, I think Bucky will also be in here.

Speaker 2:

I mean it's also interesting this cast list too, because Reed Richards, he doesn't have an intellectual equal among this group sure he would be the closest yeah, unless you count like sherry and then like maybe professor x or magneto, like one of those two. Um, so it's gonna. It's interesting that he doesn't.

Speaker 1:

There is no intellectual equal to kind of like challenge him on anything well, I I think that's why Letitia writes in this movie specifically is to be that one, and not only be that one be one of the main heroes of this thing too, like not only, you know, mentally being able to challenge, but physically being able to challenge, yeah. And then again it's. I think what they need to really do. Early on in the movie is set how important Sam is to being the leader of the Avengers. Reed's like why are you even? He's like no, no, no, this is my team. And then Bucky's like wait, but I also got my team. And then the Fantastic Four are going to be like wait, we got our team.

Speaker 2:

And then the X-Men are going to show up, yep.

Speaker 1:

And then the Thunderbolts are like no, we're the actual Avengers and it's going to be this Cluster of these teams trying to mesh and meld together.

Speaker 2:

Well, because the Sentry also gives the Thunderbolts credibility.

Speaker 1:

Right, exactly, but they're like his babysitter, like to make sure he doesn't go ballistic.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Like they all. It's kind of funny that each faction has kind of like a heavy. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Like the.

Speaker 2:

Avengers have Thor Right, the Thunderbolts have the Sentry, the Wakandan faction has Namor and then the X-Men have. I mean, take your pick. I guess Magneto, power-wise, is probably the heavy one.

Speaker 1:

I think it's Jean Grey which we're going to talk about in a little bit Sure.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because, again, conspicuous by their absence are a whole host of characters.

Speaker 1:

Which leads us into our actual show for the day. Our gimmick, our gimmick for the day. We are going to focus on the characters that were not there. I did a specific split of how we are going to go about this. Okay, we are going to do I'm listening we're still going to do 27. 18 of them will be just the actual MCU characters that just weren't announced Like we've seen them in the MCU. They're just not here. We are going to do seven of them or, excuse me, nine of them will be the non-MCU characters that you think could show up. And then you've got three wild cards Could be new actors added into this franchise. It could be actors that have been in different stuff, like three just jaw drop ones. Okay, all right, so I mean you can rapid fire through the MCU actuals.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, I feel like most of those are. I feel like we can kind of like co-write these ones. Because I feel like we would probably end up having the same ones. Sure, so I would imagine I mean Deadpool Wolverine. Yes, so I would imagine I mean Deadpool Wolverine.

Speaker 1:

Yes, that's what I have Deadpool and Wolverine.

Speaker 2:

Yep Scarlet Witch.

Speaker 1:

I do not have her Interesting. I truthfully think she's not going to be in this movie.

Speaker 2:

Saving her for Secret.

Speaker 1:

Wars. Exactly. And to your point of who's had, if they have no person to be the, she's the best option to be like the jaw drop.

Speaker 2:

Like I'm, I, I'm, I'm thinking, I'm back, yeah, um storm.

Speaker 1:

You're counting her as your mcu yeah, I mean I would count her in the same vein as these other x-men characters I can't like. And well, those are the ones that are my non-mcu ones. That's how I split it, so like I'm not counting storm, like she's never been in an MCU movie before Captain Marvel Yep, yep, I have.

Speaker 2:

Carol.

Speaker 1:

Hulk Yep, I have Hulk, which means Jen Walters She-Hulk.

Speaker 2:

Yep.

Speaker 1:

I have Kamala Khan, kate Bishop Yep.

Speaker 2:

Yep, yep.

Speaker 1:

Monica Rambeau. Yep, I have Rhodey.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes.

Speaker 1:

I have Star-Lord on here, Specifically Star-Lord Yep. He's the only Guardian that I have on here.

Speaker 2:

Yep, I would do that. I have Doctor Strange in here.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I have Ironheart in here. Yes, I can see that I have Red Hulk in here. Oh, I think you bring Harrison Ford back for this, to give them another Heavy in here. Interesting, I have Wonder man in here.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I like this.

Speaker 1:

I have Spider-Man in here, obviously. Yep, yeah, that's it so. Bruce Banner, jennifer Walters, carol Danvers, kamala Khan, monica Rambeau, james Rhodes, vision Moon Knight. I have Moon Knight. Yep, I have Moon Knight as well too. Doctor Strange, star-lord Kate, bishop Ironheart, deadpool up. I have moon knight as well too.

Speaker 2:

Dr strange, star lord kate bishop, ironheart, deadpool, wolverine, spider-man, wonder man, red hulk, yeah, yeah, I think that's solid. I mean I'm trying to think of anyone else maybe that would or could show up. I mean there's some, there's some wild ones like I think there's a world. I think there's a world where, maybe, at the end of this thing, steve Rogers comes back.

Speaker 1:

I purposely didn't do Natasha Steve. I purposely didn't do the two of them because I already think they're in this movie. They're either in this movie or they're in Secret Wars. I genuinely think they're both there. I'm not overtly concerned about keeping them in there. I'm not overtly concerned about keeping them in there. I also didn't want characters that were going to come back to. I want the actual characters that would be a part of the actual Avengers roster. Let me do this. I'm going to actually swap somebody out. I'm actually going to take out I really think Ironheart's going to be in this movie. I'm going to sacrifice Wonder man because he might be too new for Wong.

Speaker 2:

Oh, Wong, Absolutely. I think Wong has to be in this movie.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll swap that and you get your mystical side. He's a Sorcerer Supreme, damn it. But I'm keeping Moon Knight in here. The moon is watching, the moon is watching. Alright, I'll let you cook on your non-MCU, your nine non-MCU characters.

Speaker 2:

Storm Jean Grey yes man, I think there's a world. I do think there's a world where they might get Blade in this movie, which Blade, the new Blade.

Speaker 1:

I'll just spoil one. I think they're getting Blade, but it's Wesley Snipes, I think.

Speaker 2:

I might, I'll just spoil one. I think they're getting Blade, but it's Wesley Snipes Mm Like I, just I. I think they know. They have to know in the back of their mind that they've done some sort of wrong yeah. And I think the way that they can sort of make it up to him is get him in this Avengers movie somehow. It'd be a little tough man, it would be a little tough, but I don't know.

Speaker 2:

I just feel like you gotta do right by him somehow, and I feel like that's a way to do it Okay. You know, Sure Not an MCU, huh, I think that there's a world that Daisy shows up. Okay, from Agents of SHIELD, she's the character that makes the most sense.

Speaker 1:

Well, I told you about the split, I think, agents of SHIELD, season5, physically split from the timeline, split from the MCU. That's a branch reality In which she might have quaked her way Through the multiverse itself back to the main 616.

Speaker 2:

And then I think, if they're going to save, this is going to sound really strange. I think, if they're going to save Steve Rogers for Secret Wars, I think they're going to get the original Fantastic Four in this movie, the whole group, not just Reed Richards. They're going to get all of them Jessica Alba, chris Evans, michael Chiklis and what's his name that plays Reed Richards? Oh, um, yohan Griffin. Yes, yohan Griffin. I think that was nine. Was that nine Sounded like nine? Sure did so. That would be pretty much made up of X-Men, the rest of the X-Men and then the other Fantastic Four.

Speaker 1:

Okay, okay, I like it. I like the approach. All right, so what I did for mine?

Speaker 2:

is Because I think they're saving Again not to cut you off but, I think they're saving the other Spider-Men for Secret Wars.

Speaker 1:

Sure, sure, I can live with the world worth, because you don't want to jam-pack too much and also, like you do have some lifting in this movie, like you genuinely do have to get Anthony Mackie to be the leader of the actual Avengers. You have to mesh all these teams together, like if you thought the logistical nightmare of Infinity War was something that's like a child's play compared to what's going to happen here.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yes.

Speaker 1:

So what I think is going to happen is you are going to have I'm actually going to swap, I'm going to add one You're going to have in here. You're going to have Tim Story's Fantastic Four. You'll have the original with Chris Evans' Fantastic Four in there, but this time a little bit more serious.

Speaker 2:

Not the Deadpool and Wolverine version. You're not going to like what happens next?

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, I put Peter 2 and Peter 3 in here.

Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, that's fine.

Speaker 1:

Wesley Snipes played specifically. You know what? I'll take out Peter 2 and Peter 3. I'll actually buy into your theory that they're, and I agree that they won't. I'll replace it with Elektra.

Speaker 2:

Elektra. Yeah, okay.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like if they were in Deadpool Wolverine and they worked like I genuinely think there'll be back Sure Um narrative leave. It makes more sense as well too.

Speaker 2:

Um, so the original fantastic four you're going to put Daredevil in this, aren't you?

Speaker 1:

No, I'm actually not. Oh, I don't think Ben Affleck would do this.

Speaker 1:

No, probably not no version. He's not going to do the serious version. Jean Grey, jean Grey and Storm Famke Jensen. Jean Grey and Halle Berry. And Halle Berry was just at CinemaCon. She's like, no, I'm not in this movie. Who was she with when she said that? Say it. Who was she with? Who was she with when she was lying through her teeth that she's not going to be in this movie? Who was she with? She was with Andrew Garfield. Andrew Garfield. Andrew Garfield told her lie like there's no more the biggest liar in the universe.

Speaker 1:

So you know, jean Grey and Storm, they're going to put them both in suits. You ready, mohawk? Oh, that'd be cool for Halle Berry to give her the Mohawk. That'd be pretty cool. You ready, yeah?

Speaker 2:

Miles Teller Reed Richards. Pretty cool, you ready? Yeah, miles teller reed richards as the maker yeah, you've been you've been banging this drum for a while.

Speaker 1:

I think it's sound rogue because there can't be a game and it's gonna be um it's gonna be um uh, anna paquin as rogue. That would be cool. Bring her back, let her actually be rogue like. Give her the and make this universe where she stole her powers. She stole captain marvel's powers as well, too. You could absolutely do that. Yep, they're gonna give her the and make this universe where she stole her powers. She stole Captain Marvel's powers as well, too.

Speaker 2:

You could absolutely do that, yep, they're going to give her the accent.

Speaker 1:

She already kind of had it Like I don't need much, like I don't need her to go full Gambit that no one got to come out with it. You never want to go full Gambit. Black Bolt will be here.

Speaker 1:

Black Agar Bolting on black agar, bolting on, will be here. Um, they'll find a way to get him in here. They'll find, they'll find any conceivable way to get him in here. And then I I, the last one was a little tough, like I really was trying to, I was trying to like scour everywhere, to really think about it, like I don't know how far dipped into the multiverse we're gonna go in this movie. I would love, love, love if they get eric bannis hulk back. That's tremendous. If they find a way and then, like in the scene, they do the comic book intercut the way they were doing the panels, just for that scene that would be hilarious.

Speaker 2:

Um interesting, you didn't have madam webb in there nope, it's not actually.

Speaker 1:

It's actually not interesting, I think it's.

Speaker 2:

That's quite interesting. I don't think it's interesting at all notable by her absence.

Speaker 1:

You didn't no, I'm actually. I actually went out of my way to make sure that I didn't say no, madam webb. No morbius, no, because why would they be here? No Venom, you know what's crazy I genuinely thought about. I really think they're just going to go full send in Secret Wars.

Speaker 2:

And put Venom in it. Venom.

Speaker 1:

Venom the Spider-Man. I think the Spider-Man will be in that, but Eric Bana's Hulk as Maestro would be the coolest. But Ed Norton's Hulk would be the best Maestro you can ask for.

Speaker 2:

Let me ask you a Secret Wars question, not about the comic, about the movie. Do you think they're going to bring Iron man back?

Speaker 1:

Yes, 100%.

Speaker 2:

Oh man A thousand percent.

Speaker 1:

That would be wild. They're going to bring back. They're going to have the original Avengers team there. Is he going to fight himself?

Speaker 2:

I'm serious. Are they going to try and do that? Are they going to do?

Speaker 1:

a Gemini man situation. Well, they'll do. The original Avengers coupled with the new Avengers, it'll be this absolutely insane splash page of God.

Speaker 2:

Emperor Doom, you can do it too, because they both have masks on. So Downey could do the voiceover for Iron man and Doom.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm, that would be wild. No, I legitimately think that's exactly what's going to happen.

Speaker 2:

Oh man, that would be insane. Who else did you not put in here no Apocalypse, who Apocalypse, apocalypse no.

Speaker 1:

Apocalypse in there. I tried to think of some more X-Men characters. You know who would be fun? No, craven the Hunter. No, you know who would be fun? Iceman from the original X-Men movies. I was going to say Iceman, that would have been a fun one.

Speaker 2:

I think I said that to you like a week ago. Give me Omega level Iceman in this movie.

Speaker 1:

Yes, what's his name? Who's the him?

Speaker 2:

Sean Ashmore. Oh, sean Ashmore. Sean Ashton is in Lord of the Rings. Yes, come on, mr Frodo, we gotta get him to small camp.

Speaker 1:

Samwise Gamgee showing up in Avengers. Yo the Secret Wars, just do all the things. John Wick will return in Secret Wars. Ethan Hunt will return in Secret Wars.

Speaker 2:

Did you say Vision?

Speaker 1:

Yes, you did say Vision?

Speaker 2:

yes, you did say.

Speaker 1:

Vision in my original team. Alright, I need three wild cards like the, the WTFs um Ghost Rider.

Speaker 2:

I also have Ghost Rider guess it's not that much of a W which Ghost Rider it's Nicholas Cage yeah, that's the crowd pop one yeah, um, I think that would just be cool. Just put him in there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you were talking the boom crowd pops. I think that would just be cool. Just put him in there.

Speaker 2:

We're talking the boom crowd pops. I know it's two different characters, but I'm counting them as one Fassbender and McAvoy.

Speaker 1:

That's fine with me, I'm good with that. I want them to play the Krakoan versions of themselves. Mcavoy, he has the helmet on, he has the suit on, like Fassbender has the white, the full white, like Magneto suit, like. That's the version I want out of the two of them. Yeah, also, just make them Professor X and Fassbender and Magneto in the new MCU. You could.

Speaker 2:

It's funny and just don't see it's funny and just don't see it's funny that they've aged themselves kind of into the roles now, right, and like, just don't.

Speaker 1:

And then they can play those characters for like the next 20 years and nobody would bat an eye.

Speaker 2:

If they want to.

Speaker 1:

Because they're the best by far of the post Days of Future Past or the post like original trilogy. I have Thanos here. I also have Thanos here. I see how our brains work. I have Thanos slash Cable. Oh, for comedic purposes, yeah, I just. I genuinely don't think and again, it's to give Doctor Doom the credibility. I don't think you leave Secret Wars Without the splash page of him just grabbing Thanos' spine and ripping it out of his I think they might even do that in Doomsday.

Speaker 1:

They could. He goes to a universe. Where Do you think he's going to try to make the Infinity Gauntlet himself and show how easy it is? Maybe?

Speaker 2:

I think they're going to do what I think they're going to do with Doom in Doomsday, like the first 15 minutes that they did with Thanos in Infinity War put him up against the baddest dog in the yard, in which case would be Thanos from another universe.

Speaker 1:

Imagine he beats him with the Infinity Gauntlet.

Speaker 2:

That would be a nice change from the comic, because in the comic obviously they have that back and forth where Thanos is like I'm the strongest being in the universe, this, that and the other thing. He'd. Thanos is like I'm the strongest being in the universe, this, that and the other thing to do was like well, do you have the infinity gauntlet now? Thanos was like no, but that, even without the gauntlet, like that's enough. And then doom vaporizes them.

Speaker 2:

He's like that would appear untrue, that'd be a great like opening 10 minutes when you're like, oh, like, that was the guy that the last drill, like thing, was about and he just smoked him.

Speaker 1:

You know.

Speaker 2:

So I think that would be cool, trying to think of like other ones. That would be like really wild. I had Quake in there. That would be pretty fun. I don't know if it would be like Doc, your, I mean, I guess it would depend on like how fervent the Agents of SHIELD fanbase is but. I don't know how much that would get people going. Coulson would. Coulson would be fun, Coulson would yeah People would enjoy that.

Speaker 1:

I have the Scarlet Witch in here.

Speaker 2:

Yes, as, like she's the post-credits scene, like I need somebody to blow up the multiverse for me so we can get this thing going. So I can assume, like I need a being that can house all the energy from the multiverse. She's the one. I've been saying this for years, that she more than any, maybe with loki, like loki in there somewhere, she's the. She's the one with the most oomph, like in her backstory at a multiversal level, because spider-man's also.

Speaker 1:

but but they don't own the rights, so it gets a little tough.

Speaker 2:

Like she's the tether or, you know, conceivably should have been and could conceivably still be the tether of this entire saga. Mm-hmm, it would be interesting because of Also.

Speaker 1:

Ooh, I just thought of something. What Do you possibly for like a second in Secret Wars? Do House of M and put Ian McKellen with?

Speaker 2:

the two of them.

Speaker 1:

I think that would be great, but do Evan Peters instead of Aaron Taylor Johnson in this one?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because Evan Peters would probably say yes before Aaron Taylor Johnson says yes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, maybe. Yeah, I think you would want to do some sort of Scarlet Witch Magneto scene With either of the Magneto actors, but I think Ian McKellen obviously has just the incredible amount of gravitas and presence. Like I said, I don't care what happens in Doomsday. You've got to give Ian McKellen some type of monologue. I don't care where it is. You've got to give Ian McKellen some type of monologue. I don't care where it is, you got to Because I mean that would just be something else.

Speaker 1:

Just the same way you have Harrison Ford as Red Hulk.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, that's the one. When I saw the cast list I was like I can't believe he's going to be back as Magneto. You just believe he's gonna be back smagneto, like that. I, just you, just he. Amy kellen has like a certain gravitas gravitas and a certain grandeur to him.

Speaker 1:

That's just unmistakable, yeah like him, just give it. Give me a monologue, give me one last when I hear to me my x-men from patrick stort and I get all my childhood x-men in the suits I think, yeah, I think, to your point.

Speaker 2:

I think they, depending on what she's up to, I think anna paquin should absolutely come back if you're gonna do gambit, you have to do rogue and you have an.

Speaker 1:

Anna paquin deserves this and just tone him, tone him down a little bit and that's what I said like now you can kind of like actually make him a character, not a caricature. You can actually make him a character, not a caricature. You can actually make him a character. I think he would enjoy that. Yes, I would, I think so. How old is Anna Paquin Now? She's got to be in her 40s. And how old is Channing Tatum? She's 42 now. And how old is Channing Tatum? He's also got to be in her 40s, he's 44.

Speaker 1:

Channing Tatum's they're the same age.

Speaker 2:

They're in the same range.

Speaker 1:

That's perfect. Yeah, you have the two of them together. That's your love relationship in the X-Men. Besides, Scott and Gene Play up the Scott and Gene stuff Like I would love a universe where Wolverine can't steal Gene from Scott. I want Hugh Jackman to get humbled a little bit in this too. Just the same approach they had in X-Men 97.

Speaker 2:

Oh, put him in the brown suit from deadpool and wolverine. I think what would be interesting. As much as we say like they should be, they should all be like x-men 97. I think that wolverine the wolverine, that whatever wolverine is in these adventures movie, should be the deadpool wolverine version oh no, that I agree with I think it would be interesting to see him interacting with an x-men team again, given his back.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and fought in this, even down to in the suit.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like given his backstory, yeah, I think it would be really interesting to see him reconcile with his guilt, but through a different team of x-men, right, kind of like giving him like a second chance a chance to like be a part of the x-men and actually like enjoy it right, and he can like lean, you know, credit Deadpool for kind of like bringing him out of that. I think that would be really cool. Yep, because, yeah, I can't imagine a world that Hugh Jackman's not in this movie, with these other.

Speaker 1:

No, deadpool and Wolverine made a billion dollars.

Speaker 2:

Of course, the two of them will be in this movie no chance and the fact that Deadpool's also going to shoe.

Speaker 1:

I just love the idea of Ryan Reynolds shoehorning himself into this X-Men team and they're just like, eh, we don't, I don't, we don't know, I don't even know. Oh well, he's going to be the fourth wall breaker, like he's going to be the bridge piece between I would love to see some stuff between him and She-Hulk.

Speaker 2:

I would love to see some stuff between him and She-Hulk, like they both look and they're like wait, you can do it too. Yeah, I think that would be pretty good. I think that would be really good Again.

Speaker 1:

what did Tatiana Muslany do to anybody she?

Speaker 2:

was phenomenal as She-Hulk. I think this movie is going to have a you know without you know, kind of without the Guardians.

Speaker 1:

Like I do think this movie is going to have a kind of a dour tone to it. You know, unless the thunderbolts takes, that which is possible.

Speaker 2:

Or, like you said, like if deadpool's going to be in this thing, like obviously deadpool can do a lot of the heavy lifting there.

Speaker 1:

I just think the x-men in here like that x-men universe versus. Like I wanted the versus. It doesn't sound like it's going to be a versus. It sounds like maybe that x-Men universe is going to die and they're going to find a way to get into the. What if Scarlet Witch is with them? That would be insane. Like that, that Earth's version of Wanda's grown up.

Speaker 2:

I think Beast is probably the conduit to getting that team, which?

Speaker 1:

makes him a part of the Illuminati, instead of Professor X, because I think he's too old.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think Beast is probably the conduit that gets, because he's already familiar you want to talk about?

Speaker 1:

mental characters that can deal with. Reed Richards Beast is right there too. Oh dear, oh dear.

Speaker 2:

Get him in a Sentinel.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, question mark.

Speaker 2:

No, I think this movie as much as people want to. You know, maybe people are kind of crushing this movie a little bit as like nostalgia bait or whatever.

Speaker 1:

There's narrative potential here. There's actual narrative potential.

Speaker 2:

I think, again, it's weird. It's weird the public perception from Infinity War to this movie in the sense that, like, everyone was like all Russos all the time. And now everyone's like, oh, they're bringing the Russos back. Oh, they're bringing Robert Downey Jr. Everyone's like, oh, they're bringing the russo's back. Oh, they're bringing robert downey jr back. Oh, they're bringing the x-men back.

Speaker 1:

Like all this stuff is probably gonna be pretty good I just have this vision that the x-men stuff is gonna be exceptional, like especially post x-men 97. They know how the x-men should be moving in live action. Yeah, I have a feeling they know that, like we got something absolutely incredible ready to rock, like we got something that's gonna be just absurd ready to go. This is gonna be a three-hour movie. I don't see any world where this movie clocks in at 220. No shot, no, no, no shot. This has got to be a three-hour movie. Both movies are probably going to be three hours yeah, I would say so.

Speaker 2:

um, yeah, I mean. And then the downy thing is still the thing that I just can't wrap my head around, why people are so down on it, downey on it, sorry, that's my bad, like the guy's, not phenomenal.

Speaker 1:

An Oscar-winning actor.

Speaker 2:

Can he play a villain? Yeah, did you guys watch Oppenheimer? He was the worst person in that movie.

Speaker 1:

He was the worst person and it's the same. What's the line? He said you know, whatever you know is out in the front. He said power stays.

Speaker 2:

Like that's, dr Doom, like that's his whole thing Like I think people are just afraid into Dr Doom.

Speaker 1:

Acosta. Nah, they just didn't watch off. I don't understand.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't understand what the thought process is here. Yeah, it's a wild swing to recast him and bring him back.

Speaker 1:

You know what would be insane for Fantastic Four If at the end Reed can't save them. But then out of the woodwork, robert Downey Jr's Doom comes out and creates the life raft to save them over to the new universe. And then Owatu, the Watcher Jeffrey Wright.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned him. I think we're going to get Owatu the Watcher.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, a live-action version of him, that would be incredible. I think that just makes the most sense too. But yeah, I feel like you know, imagine it's Doom's the one that saves them from that universe. Oh, that would be sensational. And then, like they get to the MCU. First of all, who are you? Second of all, who's this guy? You know what I was also thinking about?

Speaker 1:

A fun approach to this movie. You take Dr Doom into all the heroes. He's there to help all of them. And then you slowly see, like sure He'd be, like I don't think he's as good of a person as you guys all think. And then it just cause again the whole villain of this movie to fight are the other earths that are coming? That's fabulous. And then that all you're narratively doing is saying like all right, you're just kind of seeing this guy like he must. It's like the grand scale Mysterio thing from from no, from from no way home or from far from home. It's like he's presenting himself as like I saved the Fantastic Four and then, like the Fantastic Four trying, they probably remove the Fantastic Four away and doom removes them, and it's just like they're never gonna be able to tell anybody that you know that I was evil and am I evil? And then again they're going to learn the truth and Namor's going to be like well, I'm just going to go with him because he actually is going to save the multiverse.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's fantastic. Whoa, oh man, I love that.

Speaker 1:

That's a great call I don't know if that's what's gonna happen. I don't think so. Just from what feige said, I think it's gonna be a little bit more direct, but again that just paints him as a hero. And that's what secret wars like time runs out. In secret wars, like, obviously dr doom's the villain, but it's not as simple. As he's the villain, it's like he. I'm sorry to break it to you he did it, he did save the multiverse yeah, yeah that's fascinating.

Speaker 1:

Maybe he tried to tries to take loki's power instead of the beyonders powers in this movie I think that's really possible. I think that's entirely possible um, probably tries to steal the vibrate, or he's probably like, in order to save the multiverse. I need a few things, y'all I need some vibranium, I need the infinity stones and I need to become a god yeah, or maybe it's one of those things where he maybe fails to get Loki's powers and then he that's when he flips and all of them are like, oh shoot, well, I don't think he's going to fail to get the powers.

Speaker 2:

He's got to turn into god, emperor doom yeah, I mean, maybe that's how doomsday ends with him kind of rewriting reality and the worlds are ending and again they can't save it and that if he ends up with Loki's abilities and can rewrite reality, that's where you can literally reinsert the Scarlet Witch where she's like hold on.

Speaker 1:

I don't even think it's that. I think she's with him to start and you find out that he got her in every single universe and she's the one that made the boom in every single universe. And then the main, the Nexus being main 616, prime timeline. Scarlet Witch is like absolutely not.

Speaker 2:

No, no no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no more mutants no more Dr Doom.

Speaker 1:

No more Dr Doom. No more Dr Doom. No more Dr Doom. No more Dr Doom.

Speaker 2:

It's. My good friend Thanos once said no more Dr Doom. I think there's a lot of cool things this movie can bring and I think people are overreacting and over kind of like. Not overanalyzing, but they're just like they underestimate how sick this stuff is. Just gonna look on a screen.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean. Yeah, alan Silvestri's back to do the score. The Russos are back, who were gods to everybody, but everybody's now shut up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, when you look at, the list of like best Marvel movies. Their stuff is at or near the top.

Speaker 1:

This movie is going to make $10 trillion.

Speaker 2:

Like Captain America and the Winter Soldier, infinity War, civil War, avengers, endgame all done by the Russos. They've done literally the best things outside of you know outside of and including the Guardians movies. Black Panther, like the Russo movies, are in the pantheon of Marvel films, so everyone relax.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're getting Robert Downey Jr back and properly motivated. Yeah, as a villain, pedro Pascal's there, like there's a lot of things, like Pedro Pascal being, you know, one of the most famous people on the planet.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, go down this cast list of all the like just A-plus list actors that are going to be in this movie and that's not even the whole cast, right, I think they just do the same thing again, they just do the 27 thing again, and then they just announced like again, like Femke Jensen, halle Berry, sean Ashmore, and then you go into Chris Pratt, chris Pratt, paul.

Speaker 2:

Bettany, paul Bettany. Paul Bettany, again yep. Paul Bettany, again Yep. The greatest actor he's ever worked with.

Speaker 1:

He's my goat. He really had us thinking Al Pacino was going to be the Chris Toto, and I was in. I thought Reed Richards was going to be in this. I think they do the. I was thinking about this for the Council of Reeds. You do, obviously, yohan Griffin, miles Teller as the maker, pedro Pascal. You do the guy from the 90s as well too. You get him in there, you pay him a little homage and that's your John Krasinski, right, and that's the five of them. That's your Council of Reeds. That'd be so fun.

Speaker 2:

Miles Teller's like miles teller turns to john cruz's didn't get turned into pasta. I'm a dip.

Speaker 1:

I'm a diff, I'm from earth. 839 938. Why are you? On this council, you get shredded by the scarlet you're the dumbest of the smart reads on this council idiot. Then you give away black bolt's powers you fool. Yeah, he would be the type of read richards to say you fool, what are you doing? I? I think Miles Teller is going to. I think he'll say yes.

Speaker 2:

Not if Glenn Powell says yes first. Just kidding. To what Playing Reed Richards.

Speaker 1:

Yo, miles Teller would punch Dude. It's like the Christopher Smith and Bloodsport thing. He's you but better. Miles Teller really thought he was going to. I watched the Gorge. That was a pretty fun action horror thing Scott Derrickson directed that.

Speaker 2:

That's cool. He's like wait, I was supposed to be the guy in Top Gun. Yeah, nope, it's me. I'm Glenn Powell. I'm gonna do a movie about tornadoes.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, wait, don't act like it's not a franchise.

Speaker 2:

I guess it is. Yeah, I can't wait to see what Avengers does. Man, I'm really really, really curious.

Speaker 1:

What did they say? If Deadpool and Wolverine is a 7 out of 10, like Doomsday is a 9 out of 10, secret Wars is a 10 out of 10 on like the WTF scale, yeah, so I just I don't think they're going pull any. Why not? Why pull any? Stop for secret wars, like bankrupt disney, like they're just gonna make it. You're gonna make 10 billion dollars. What's the youth doomed, or? Uh, secret wars legitimately has the potential to be the highest grossing film of all time and what actor is gonna say no?

Speaker 1:

that's what I'm saying ben affleck ben affleck is the only one that's gonna no, I, I'm never doing this again. But who else?

Speaker 2:

out of any of the people that have played.

Speaker 1:

Wait, if Matt Damon plays that one character that he always plays in the Thor movies for some odd reason, Ben Affleck might say yes.

Speaker 2:

It's true. Bring Johnny Depp back as the Vanisher, not Johnny.

Speaker 1:

Depp, not Johnny Depp, brad Pitt.

Speaker 2:

Same difference.

Speaker 1:

No, it's not.

Speaker 2:

No, it's actually not Bring Johnny Depp back as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Speaker 1:

Tron Ares will return in Avengers Tombstone Cloak and Dagger.

Speaker 2:

You know I love me some Cloak and Dagger.

Speaker 1:

How I feel about Agents of SHIELD. How do you feel about Cloak and Dagger? How I feel about Agents of Shield. You feel about Cloak and Dagger. I love.

Speaker 2:

Cloak and Dagger. I need them in Daredevil, season 2 stat. We saw them work together in X-Men 97.

Speaker 1:

I just watched those last three episodes, like literally two nights ago, I feel like once a month. I'll throw on the last three episodes of X-Men 97 and I'm like there's no way. This is this good. This is the best superhero storytelling.

Speaker 2:

I've ever seen Daredevil and Cloak and Dagger helped each other out in X-Men 97. They could get together in Daredevil.

Speaker 1:

Why was the Silver Samurai just like, hmm, the world went dark and he was just, the world went back on. A few days later, he still was on the same rooftop.

Speaker 2:

Days later, he still was on the same rooftop like he's like interesting, interesting, who could, who could have done this? And we need to go back to what happened to that nuclear power plant with omega red.

Speaker 1:

Nothing good, surely happened no, no, they saw the light. The one science is like, oh dear omega, oh no, omega red's out.

Speaker 2:

Omega red was like excellent. Now I can go fight Wolverine.

Speaker 1:

Alright, let's just get some funny characters. William back as Wraith. Yep, as Wraith, john Wraith. You're John Wraith from Marvel Comics, aren't you?

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's probably another person that would say no, because he presumably said no to Deadpool. Wolverine was Liev Schreiber. Yeah, would he. I mean maybe they throw a couple more zeros in the paycheck. They got the money for it and he's like, actually I do like playing Sabertooth.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he said, wait a minute. I'm not just the voice of NFL films anymore bring back X-Men Origins, deadpool dog that he just sneaks off for a second, like when the multiverse is collapsing. He just sees him, he just murders him real quick. You know, I had to uh, henry cavill's wolverine yeah the cavalry, the cavalry.

Speaker 2:

Remember that. That was why yeah, that was crazy, that was just leaving.

Speaker 1:

I was like wait a second no, don't they got to get the guy from saturday, the saturday night movie to play wolverine?

Speaker 2:

he's like five, four I was like wait, henry cavill, maybe should just be Wolverine actually no, you know what I was like. Hold on, Hold on Jennifer Lawrence back. She's never doing it. You know what? If you could convince her that she wouldn't have to put the makeup on? No, put her in the white suit.

Speaker 1:

Put her in the white suit. Isn't there some movie that isn't listed? That's in between Secret Wars and Infinity, or Doomsday and Secret Wars oh, I don't know which should just be the next Deadpool and Wolverine movie.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. Bring back Andy Serkis as Klaue.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I mean he's dead but, In between now and when Doomsday comes out, we need to do an episode of, like, the best pairings that could come of this, and when Doomsday comes out, we need to do an episode of the best pairings that can come of this. Sure and like.

Speaker 2:

Hayley Atwell's in this movie right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, her agent accidentally leaked it, said it which means she's gonna be.

Speaker 2:

Oh, is she gonna be, captain Carter?

Speaker 1:

Of course she's gonna be Captain Carter. The MCU has a hard-on for Captain Carter. I don't understand.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you know who would be a cool character to show up in live action Kihori.

Speaker 1:

That would be fun. I can genuinely see them doing that. You know who wouldn't be a cool character to see in live action? The bird creature of Darcy Lewis and Howard the Duck. Nope, we're actually good on that. Whiplash, whiplash, whiplash and Guy somehow teamingiplash, whiplash and Gia somehow teaming up, because they were in that one facility in Russia With Justin Hammer man. I really wish Also Samuel L Jackson no ifs, ands or buts going to be in this movie, even when he's out, even when I'm out.

Speaker 2:

I'm in, he's in, remember when I fought all those Skrulls.

Speaker 1:

Oh you know, it would be an incredible bit. Imagine the x-men get to him and they're just like who are you? Nick fury? And they were like we thought nick fury was white him.

Speaker 2:

Him linking up with roadie again after secret invasion would just be hilarious which one are you? Remember when we fought all those scrolls. That was wild, that was wild time, the mcu just forgot about the scrolls.

Speaker 1:

No, daredevil born again. Thought about the Skrulls, never mind.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the Turg Barreton stand-in.

Speaker 1:

Come on, man, he had a sad arc. He did have a sad arc.

Speaker 2:

Interesting that you didn't throw any Eternals in there.

Speaker 1:

I know what's happening.

Speaker 2:

Oh, how did I leave out Eresham?

Speaker 1:

You know what's the worst part about you saying that there's not a 0% chance that he could show up, which pisses me off. Maybe that's what he does. Maybe Doom takes out the Celestials to get his powers. That would be wild and it would be plausible. Maybe he goes to Tiamat and takes Tiamat's power from him.

Speaker 2:

And then he fights Erisham.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because Erisham's like my boy. They killed my boy again.

Speaker 2:

That appears untrue. He does the Thanos thing, but it's Erisham instead. You're like, oh shit.

Speaker 1:

Keneil Nanjiami is Kingo, the main character of Avengers Secret Wars.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no Eternals.

Speaker 1:

I just I know they're never coming back. I just besides Dane Whitman. I think they'll get him in something Shit. He might not even come back. At this point. That Midnight Suns movie just has ultimate potential if you just have Benedict Cumberbatch be the one that leads that movie, with Mahershala Ali being the two leads, with Dane Whitman, werewolf by Night. Who else? The Punisher? We were like just find a way to get the Punisher there, because it would be absolutely hilarious.

Speaker 2:

The Punisher should be in Avengers.

Speaker 1:

In the War Machine armor.

Speaker 2:

No, he's just the Punisher.

Speaker 1:

What are you going to do over there? What do you do Somebody's like? What are you going to do with?

Speaker 2:

that gun. What do you do? What do you do? I do not have time for your candy-ass hero. Shit, nobody asked you.

Speaker 1:

I specifically didn't say Daredevil on purpose. I do not think he's going to be in these movies. Nobody asked you, Frank.

Speaker 2:

Just Punisher. Squaring up with Thor would just be funny.

Speaker 1:

He just points the gun at Thor Thor's like is this guy for real?

Speaker 2:

Thor just bends it. Nah, this guy for real, thor just bends it, nah, man, that was my favorite that was my favorite AR-15.

Speaker 1:

Now I have to bring out my second favorite AR-15.

Speaker 2:

I have to bring out my shotgun bends the shotguns this sucks, man. Aha, this is an adamantium shotgun, ooh okay.

Speaker 1:

I'll give you, I'll give you three characters that are new, that can be in this movie. That would make a lot of sense. Yes, movie that would make a lot of sense. Yes, new characters hyperion oh, because I need, I need the panel of when. Hyperion and thor, oh, you know what they might do. They might just trade off hyperion with century and still do the same thing. Where thor takes hyper, take century under his wing, he's like a sense, yeah, two gods here amongst these mortals, right, and like they become dude bros together and then they take on the Beyonders in the end. And then also Andarmus' Black Swan, dooms, cult of insane fighting force.

Speaker 2:

Yep, I think Nobu would be cool.

Speaker 1:

Who Nobu? I thought you said Nobu.

Speaker 2:

Or Nobu, that's fine. You said Nobu or Nobu, that's fine too. Nova would be cool, I think I know she's technically been in a Marvel movie, but I think Magic would work really well.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, maybe on that X-Men team, as like Colossus is gone if this is his little sister that took on the mantle.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, those would all be great additions, I think.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm trying to think of anybody else. I mean, we're dipping into a lot of Secret Wars territory too. Like I said, the Eric Bana thing.

Speaker 2:

I think Doomsday is going to be a little bit more focused.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's going to be a little bit more of an actual film, banneray.

Speaker 2:

Bill, just kidding, that would be kind of fun.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's gonna be like a little bit more of like an actual film. I'm just kidding that would be kind of fun. Just let the Russos do like this last.

Speaker 2:

Thor's like what in the world?

Speaker 1:

it's either George Miller does the last Thor movie and he takes it seriously, or the Russos do it. Just give Chris Hemsworth the right send off, man.

Speaker 2:

Thor sees Beta Ray Bell and he's like what the what is going on here?

Speaker 1:

I do like that idea of the evil Avengers. So you do Hydra Cap, you do Natasha, if she never left the Red Room.

Speaker 2:

What about Blue Marvel?

Speaker 1:

Denzel. Is he too old? I think he's too famous to play a guy named Blue Marvel.

Speaker 2:

But Blue Marvel's like Superman.

Speaker 1:

They already have Century. Yeah, but Blue.

Speaker 2:

Marvel's like, and they have.

Speaker 1:

Ant-Man, what more do you need?

Speaker 2:

That's true. I think Blue Marvel would be sick, though.

Speaker 1:

Blue Marvel would be interesting. I like the Kaori. I think that would be cool.

Speaker 2:

I think they'll find a way to get her in. I think that character's again.

Speaker 1:

I really hate what the oh, adam Warlock is probably going to find his way in here. Oh Get Will Poulter back for a little bit.

Speaker 2:

He comes back when he's a little more grown.

Speaker 1:

Mentally grown, he's a little bit more like.

Speaker 2:

A little more like Adam Warlock, right, a little more Adam Warlock-y.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he comes back and he's like am the perfect man well, I think that Doom's gonna have his own twisted version of the Avengers from the multiverse that he handpicked together like maybe you save that for Secret Wars, but it's Hydra Cap. You do Thunderstrike. Thor from the Ultimates. You do Natasha she never left the Red Room, you do you just do Ronin. And then you do Maestro and you have your sick twisted version of the. And then you do Maestro and you have your sick twisted version of the event. And then Doom instead of Iron man. Everybody's like what the f***?

Speaker 2:

The hell. Yeah, now that I'm thinking about it, we are going to get an Iron man versus Doctor Doom thing in Secret.

Speaker 1:

Wars. That frame is going to be infamous.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's going to be crazy. Renner's gonna, it's gonna, it's gonna be. Yeah, it's gonna be crazy. Renner not in this.

Speaker 1:

Oh, he can't act anymore really yeah, I think he, I think they're letting him time to heal, like I think that's. I think that's probably what it is like I think they might relegate.

Speaker 2:

I think they might also might relegate him to kind of being like a nick fury type of character, yeah like for like, maybe for like, maybe for like the young avengers though. Yeah, yeah, but like for like, maybe for like the Young Avengers though. Yeah, yeah, where, like Renner's the guy that like kind of like I know we joked about it being um what's his name? Star-lord, not Star-Lord.

Speaker 1:

That's from the leaks.

Speaker 2:

Freaking. Uh, what's his name From Black Panther?

Speaker 1:

Oh, m'baku. Yeah, leader of the young avengers, I think. I think hawkeye would work well with that too. Yeah, let kate be the leader of the of the young avengers. You get. You get patriot, who I'm still upset wasn't in captain america 4. Um, obviously the twins. You can do heroes crusade. The only thing that's gonna suck is you just can't do nathaniel richards, like that's the one thing that you kind of but you don't need to. You have, I think you have enough characters. You could swap him out for Ironheart.

Speaker 2:

Sure, yeah, I think so. That makes a lot of sense. Alright, that's it.

Speaker 1:

That's a veteran's talk, bring back the bone guy from the woods in X3.

Speaker 2:

Marrow.

Speaker 1:

Was that Marrow?

Speaker 2:

I think it was supposed to be Marrow. Bring back the guy that you cut off his limbs. His limbs grow back and then he gets kicked in the balls. You know what? Maybe Magneto was wrong.

Speaker 1:

Maybe mutants aren't the next.

Speaker 2:

No, don't do this, don't do this, because some of those guys they were dropping like flies in the X3.

Speaker 1:

Some of them got a rough deal.

Speaker 2:

Oh, what can you do? Oh, I can bend metal to my will. What can you do?

Speaker 1:

I can literally take the poles of the earth and flip them. I just have the atmosphere at my will.

Speaker 2:

What do you do? I can shoot one of the spikes out of my arm, mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

Cool, I turn into a porcupine. Sick power, sick power, bro're, you're the d-class villain. What did they say they were? Yo x x-men. The last stand is an absurd movie. He said he's the first. Why didn't they just say omega level in that movie? What did they say? He's a class e? What are you talking about?

Speaker 2:

yeah, yeah just say omega level, omega threat detected yo, I love kel Grammer as Beast.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's great. I love his introduction in the movie too, yeah he's tremendous, he's great.

Speaker 2:

That's why I'm glad he's back for this. I told him to put him in a Sentinel in this movie For no reason.

Speaker 1:

I'm literally trying to think of all Marvel lore Like who's the funniest character that you can put in these movies?

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's got to be an X-Men character, because they all are just insane.

Speaker 1:

Some of those Spider-Man characters would be pretty solid. Big Wheel, you've got to get J Jonah Jameson in here, right? The world's ending. The last two worlds are colliding. He's like this is J Jonah Jameson, something to do with Spider-Man? Even Peter just stops for a second. Peter's like come on, man, this is somehow Spider-Man's fault, come on. He's like are we serious right now? Man Miles Morales could also.

Speaker 2:

I think they'd save it, unless you're going to talk me into a world where animated Miles Morales shows up somehow.

Speaker 1:

And in a live action version. Yeah, yes Again. A live action version. Yeah, yes Again. Why pull any stops for Secret Wars?

Speaker 2:

My bad everybody. There was a where to run.

Speaker 1:

There was a live action Miles. Uh-oh, I'm literally trying to think of any character that you can Peter Dinklage meets Peter Dinklage, bolivar Trask meets Trask and Etrid the Dwarf. Yep, how many times can you do that? You could do it with Chris Evans Bring him.

Speaker 2:

Uh, what's his name? I can't my mind's blinking on his name right now.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, anthony Hopkins, bring him back as Odin Sylvester Stallone from the Guardians movies.

Speaker 2:

Him being the only character from Guardians of the Galaxy to show up in Super Wars.

Speaker 1:

He's the representation. It would be hilarious. Lawrence Fishburne, goliath, goliath.

Speaker 2:

But actually make him Goliath.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Hank Pym.

Speaker 1:

Which Hank Pym.

Speaker 2:

The new Hank Pym, the old Hank Pym, the one that loves ants.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, bro, he took on Kang with no issue. Kang's tackled.

Speaker 2:

He's tackled. He loved Ants in that third movie.

Speaker 1:

Bring back the Red Skull, no bring back.

Speaker 2:

No, they did that already.

Speaker 1:

Bring back Walter Goggins from Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Speaker 2:

Everyone thought he was going to be a character too. Yeah, no shot.

Speaker 1:

He just wasn't. Sylvie actually probably might be in Stephanie DiMartino.

Speaker 2:

That'd be great as an actual real life chance to be in these movies. Yeah, I would love that.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying to get funny of who can be in this movie Jimmy Woo.

Speaker 2:

There's a non-zero chance that Jimmy Woo is actually in this movie.

Speaker 1:

I want him to be like a lieutenant for Doom in Battleworld. I want him to be like a lieutenant for Doom in Battleworld.

Speaker 2:

I want him to be like one of the cops. The dog from Hawkeye no don't put the dog in Werewolf by Night. Any one of those weirdos from that Werewolf by Night thing would be tremendous. The axe guy, axe guy, the Scottish guy.

Speaker 1:

Yep.

Speaker 2:

He'd be good.

Speaker 1:

Nobody from Thor Love and Thunder Nah.

Speaker 2:

Nah, keep that away.

Speaker 1:

I can't believe they wasted Emilia Clarke, because genuinely, I really think they wanted her to be one of the focal points for this thing. And then they were like wait, did we just waste one of the greatest television actors of all time? And they were like I think we did, man, I think we did, man, I think we did. What a joke, what a joke.

Speaker 2:

Peace speaker. What a joke. Put the Punisher in Secret Wars. Find a way, morph.

Speaker 1:

Morph would be cool. Morph would be an issue. Echo, nah, nah, I'm telling you there's a subplot in this movie and in the next movie. That would be incredible. If you know anything about the early days Incredibles no, but I'm getting there, the Incredibles adjacent. There's a subplot. It's not a subplot, it's just a thing where Agatha Harkness watches Franklin Richards' Babysitter. That would be one of the funniest subplots that we can get. She's already babysitting who W plots that we can get. She's already babysitting who Wiccan Wiccan's with the Young Avengers. He's fine, he's a teenager.

Speaker 2:

No he's with Agatha Harkness.

Speaker 1:

No, he's good. Don't tell me that on Battleworld you get Catherine Han for 30 seconds to be their babysitter. That'd be pretty good. She's a ghost now, not in Battleworld. You can be whatever you want in Battleworld.

Speaker 2:

You can be whatever you want to be.

Speaker 1:

Jasper Sitwell will return and be the best in the world. No. He got thrown out of a car by the Winter Soldier he did. Bucky was really a menace back in the day. He was yeah.

Speaker 2:

Alright, we gotta go.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, ti will return.

Speaker 2:

I told you they should bring him back.

Speaker 1:

Just him specifically.

Speaker 2:

Yeah him and David Dastmalchian can be there.

Speaker 1:

What about Michael Pena? Are the three of them?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the whole Ant-Man heist crew can be there.

Speaker 1:

Modok will return and MODOK, I'm really going to scour throughout like where do I start? Blade, truthfully, is where I should start.

Speaker 2:

They should bring Wesley Snipes back just for so. Like Doom can like, doom will like shoot a laser at him.

Speaker 1:

He's like motherfucker, are you out of your mind? Who did you save the F-bomb for? I was genuinely. Oh, deadpool, do you? No, no, you have to bait and switch that, like you have to have Deadpool trying to get one out, and then it's like Kamala to take that away from him. Professor X Yusuf Khan will return. He should Well, he probably might. Just a little scene where she's back with the family.

Speaker 2:

I enjoyed that. And Daredevil's there Owning up on that promise To go have dinner with them.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, mr Murdock.

Speaker 2:

The famous Kamala. Why did? Did you think that was a weird?

Speaker 1:

line delivery I thought it was Bro was glazing his own daughter, heimdall. I would love Heimdall to come back. Heimdall would be cool as part of Doom's crew in the new world Doom's crew. Doom's got a crew.

Speaker 2:

Don't do that to Idris Elba. Don't put him on Doom's crew.

Speaker 1:

He's in Valhalla. Now Anything can happen in Secret Wars.

Speaker 2:

He's in Valhalla, anything can happen to be fair, he probably shouldn't have gone to Valhalla. Who, heimdall? What did he do? He got blitzed by Thanos. Why doesn't that get you in Valhalla? Because it wasn't really a fight it was a massacre.

Speaker 1:

That is crazy to think that Idris Elba was in the MCU. You look at the actors that just have gone through the MCU, he was good, he was great.

Speaker 2:

Jane Foster, jane Fonda, that's a pretty good bit.

Speaker 1:

Like Jeff Bridges has gone through here, ed Norton has gone through here, mickey Rourke has gone through here, anthony Hopkins has gone through here. Bring Natalie Portman back as Mighty Thor. She might actually do that, she might.

Speaker 2:

God.

Speaker 1:

Guy Pearce.

Speaker 2:

Bring back Ryan Reynolds as his character from Blade 2.

Speaker 1:

Yes, See, now you're getting it. Now you're getting it. Peter 1, Peter 2, Peter number 3.

Speaker 2:

All right, it's time to go. Let's get out of here. That's it. That's time to go. Let's get out of here. That's it. That's it for us this week. You can follow us on Twitter at ProjectINF underscore pod. You can follow us on Facebook. You can follow us on Instagram At the Project Infinite pod. You can follow us on TikTok and YouTube at the Project Infinite pod. On those two platforms. Next week I can't believe we're saying this already, but it's going to be our Daredevil Born Again Season 1 review next week. This means something to me, man. I can't believe it's already over. Feels like just yesterday we were like ah, Daredevil's coming out.

Speaker 2:

Now it's over. God, it's been great. It's been really good so far. Episode 8 is out tomorrow. Yes, episode 9 is out next Tuesday. 8 and 9 are done by the new showrunners and directors, and that's why the Punisher's in them, so we'll see. I'm super keen to see where this season ends up. We've already seen some set photos from next season, looking pretty good.

Speaker 1:

That suit. It looks incredible that black suit Somewhere. Tony McGuire said did somebody say black suit, bring back black suit. Spider-man Is brand new. We didn't talk about. This is brand new day. Going to be a multiverse movie or a street level movie.

Speaker 2:

I hope it's a street level movie. I think it's going to end up being a multiverse movie, because Sony can't help themselves.

Speaker 1:

A Sony can't help themselves and B the last movie made a bajillion dollars, so why would you just not bring the two of them back and also, apparently D'Onofrio said Kingpin can't be in the Spider-Man movie.

Speaker 1:

I think he's horribly confused. Somebody made a good point that when Battleworld takes place, he should be the king of New York, like he should be like, and like the defenders are like working for Fisk, and then you get all your defenders back in like one scene. That's how Secret Wars should work. The only problem with that is narrative wise. They're going to need some central main character to really drive them through everything, and it could be Spider-Man that does it. It could be Tom Holland is the one you want For Secret Wars.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that would make sense.

Speaker 1:

You just need somebody narratively strong. That's got to be the main character of this whole thing. Spider-man makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's it. We're going to talk about Daredevil next week From me, from the Come on man, From the Ethan Hunt of the podcast.

Speaker 1:

I just need you to trust me one last time. Just trust him, just trust yeah, he saved the world at Google times.

Speaker 2:

Why are you still hunting this man? Just trust him.

Speaker 1:

He's never not saved the world and Angela Bassett still wants him arrested. Chill out, yeah chill out, man.

Speaker 2:

All right, guys, We'll see you next week for Daredevil Born Again, which is again kind of crazy to say that. But that's it. Until then, goodbye, Peace.
